Episodes you want them to continue

Sometimes episodes end before we want them to. Sometimes we want the episode to continue, becaues we feel the need to see and know more. The stories probably go on after the black screen appears, but we don't see them.

So what episodes do you wish didn't end where they did?

I think that season 1's Angel would have made a great two parter. With more about Angel and Darla and their past.

Hero, I would have liked an episode between this and Parting Gifts, dealing with what happened and maybe Cordelia having a vision and the two of them dealing with it together.

I'll probably think of more later

Once More With Feeling, to see what Buffy and Spike's reaction to the kiss would have been and to see if anyone actually said anything about Xander bringing forth the demon.

I would have loved to see some kind of follow up to "As You Were," where all of the loose ends were cleared up. Was Spike REALLY holding those eggs for a friend? Was he REALLY an international arms dealer? What happened when the customers found out that their deal had fallen through? How did Riley 1) know that Buffy was working at the DMP when he hadn't talked to anyone before showing up there; 2) just happen to have a kevlar commando suit, complete with boots and gloves, in Buffy's size (Sam was about 6 inches taller than Buffy, so it wasn't hers); 3) know precisely the right moment to show up at Spike's crypt in order to obtain the maximum embarrassment factor for Buffy; 4) get that stupid scar in the first place? If Spike really was the Doctor, why did Buffy let him live? If he WASN'T the Doctor, why didn't Buffy try to find the real Doctor? Riley wasn't there to do it.

All of those and a couple of dozen other "Why's," "What if's," and "Oh, you have GOT to be kidding's" left unanswered, unexplained, of just completely ignored after the final credits rolled.

That whole episode is one of the worst of the series
Ted. I would have liked a more thorough exploration of the scene in the library. xD

Which scene in the library? (the G/J fanatic in me if hoping you mean the very last shot! lol!)
"Halloween" needed more Giles/Ethan interaction.

"Dark Age" needed more Giles/Jenny and Giles/Ethan interaction.

"The Wish", "Dopplegangland" and "Enemies" definitely could have been dragged out more.

So true about more Giles/Jenny interaction. The whole show needed more Giles/Jenny interaction! xD
I think The Wish for sure. I would have LOVED to see more of that universe. How did Angel get captured by Xander and Willow? How did Willow and Xander get turned? How did Larry and The White Hates form? Was Jenny even part of this universe at all? It had so much depth, it was literally a whole new world. I swear, I would have loved to see multiple episode arc about that universe.

I agree with VisionGirl. Not Fade Away was so rushed and would have made a great two-parter, if we can't have another season.

Yeah, Spike is behaving so out of character from what we know at that point and it is written by Doug Petrie who has written him quite well otherwise. That ep's only excuse was that it was told from Riley's POV so of course it would be distorted. But they don't make clear it is which I find very annoying.

The only reason whatsoever for this episode was to present a scenario in which Buffy would seem totally justified, would in fact seem to have no other alternative to, finally ending her affair with Spike. It served no other purpose whatsoever. We didn't need to know anything about Riley and his wife, and the "Doctor," whoever he really was, was never mentioned again, despite his being such a dangerous, despicable person. It is a total "deus ex machina," in which some outside force suddenly swoops in, performs some significant act, then vanishes once more, never to be heard from again. It's a total crutch for writers who either can't or won't go to the trouble of accomplishing something within the actual context of the story line.

You're Welcome

Seriously, Cordelia's last episode needed to be longer. You're Welcome was great, but the character deserved a lot more.
She deserved a whole frickin' season, or however many episodes she wanted to do, given that she just had a baby and didn't want a full season. She had devoted 7 years of her life to this character, and they had done good things with other guest tars who didn't have complete seasons (thinking of Darla's season 2 & 3 arcs). Yeah, I'm just a little bitter.
