Would it have been better if Dollhouse began with the episode Epitaph One and then everything after that would serve as an extended flashback of the "good, old days" of the Dollhouse before all went to hell?

You know that would have been a really interesting starting point a I think, far more gripping. Like going in with a bang. I think it's a brilliant episode and the whole idea is just fantastic, so I think it could have generated a lot more interest if they had started out with that hint of their 'end game' at least 🙂

I'm convinced that just about anything would have been a better series premiere than Ghost. But yeah, if people had seen that first, it would have been a pretty gripping first episode. I might have even watched the show on a regular basis when it first aired.

I actually just started watching Dollhouse, and accidently watched Epitaph One first. I love that episode. I'm about to watch Man on the Street now.

In all honesty, I'd rather people watch the unaired pilot first (although Epitaph One is amazing. I like watching One and Two together, like it's a movie). The unaired pilot is waaaaay better than "Ghost", IMO. I hate it when Fox messes with things.
