Espenson on Writing Comics

I read this and it helped me a fair bit, esp the bit about conversations.

I always end up having huge convo's in the middle and it drives me nuts.

The best thing I've ever read for comic tips, is 'Writing for comics with peter david' who worked on the hulk for an age.

It's full of useful advice and has a lot to offer.

I'd recommend it to anyone looking for help with writing.
 
I've almost come to the conclusion that I have to write my stories in prose form and have someone else adapt them as comics. I always wind up being way too wordy. It would help if I were the artist too, since I'd have a better sense of how I can convey story elements visually rather than verbally.

I got Scott McCloud's "Making Comics" for Christmas...hopefully it will help.
