I agree about the game being boring.
I fel asleep halfway my mom woke me up when the second half started .
And that's when the game got better. And the penalty's where the ebst part .
 
So much has happened in this Euro france our out 😱 I wanted Holland to win yesterday and wooo they did, great pentatly shoot out..Czech and Denmark are playing at the moment 0-0 dunno really who I want to win this game. oOo Holland are playing Portugal, my who shall i support..yup..Come on Holland!!
 
lol, noone cheers for portugal...it seems that i'm the only portuguse here too so..i'm all alone 🙁.. the the Czech and Denmark game wasn'te a good one either.. i expected more for the czechs, but maybe theys saving it for the semi finals..
lol, i think that the final will be between the czechs and holand or Portugal...
i so hope R.Costa scores another one along with Postiga... :: hiding:
 
Wow 3-0 to the Czech, the game got better in the 2nd half..
So thats Portugal, Greece, Holland and Czech left, who will trophied and win the cup, hmmm...I'm seeing Portugal or Holland..winning it..
 
its been a funny championship really...most of the favorits left already...France, Spain, England.. and sme of the teams less expected to recover or to even make it to the quarters are stiill on...the greeks was a surprise..>Portugal made a extrodenary recovery after the lame and very sucky games againts russia and greece.. in the beggining i thought this was england's year..but gladly it wasen't..
well the czechs are pretty dangerous when alloud to atacks...i don't see the grees in the final, coz i think they beat the big teams coz all the bi teams went with a large ego for the small teams games..
and holland well...Van nilstelroy is a very good stiker..
hopefully portugal conter atcak will work again..
but honestly i don't know who will win..
 
Portugal or Holland to win, I think...Mrs Pointy hates football but she is going for Greece to win - mainly because we've had some great holidays in Greece...
 
I don't think Holand will win against protugal.
I did post the opposite before but when I did I was getting caried away because Holand had oen.
Portugal is very good and Holand only won because the where lucky.
There is no way we will beat portugal.
van Nistelroy is oke but he's not half as good as van hooijdonk and Davids they are soo much beter and Makaay is one of the bst if they'r not gona be in teh game against portugal Holland is screwed
 
Portugal is so overrated - we all know who really won in the England game. I hope Ruud kicks their butts. I'm thinking the Czechs could walk away with this though

we do?? lolol oh comone we did play better that england! 😛 don't tell me that the referee "favored us"? coz that argument didn't work eiter with spain...no, but wait! i prefer the one that says that "the grass favored us"..lolol
seriously now, now i can say i'm proud of the team and how they played..and if we loose now, i really perfer that's with holland that with england..
hum..makaay and davids are excent..but if Van nilstelroy didn't scored they wouldn't be here..
 
Come on - did you see the replay of Sol's goal? That was a crap call. That entire match had the worst officiating I've ever seen. The way England was playing - it shouldn't have taken Portugal 3 overtimes to beat them. Lamps and Michael had good games though - but Beckham was nowhere to be found.

and engalnd after the firts goal didn't play crap! 😛 i mean except some ocations portugal did all the atacking! England mistake was to try tio keep the 1:0 vantage till the end..problably if they tried to atack more they would have won..but the botom line was taht Scolary had the guts to take off some "major" players *coughtFIGOcough* and Ericsson didn't *coughBeckaMcough*

I sooooo agree with you, I admit that was proably the worst i have seen England play, so Portugal should of won hands down but they didnt and yeh it was the Ref's bleeding fault 😛 and I'm sure he regrets it seen as us English fans are such hooligans etc and News Readers and Newpapers are telling us the address to his website..

lol ye played it for years, but we're from diff countrys of which both played each other, we are gonna have different view over it...so well it's in the past now...I'm gonna shut up about it now..
 
lol, no as long as both sides try reasnably to make their point of views demonstred it a good discussion..but it seems that noone reads what i'm saying...but pleese explain me your point of view, coz really i don't understand where for example in soul camphell goal you don't see a fault?

Anyway - that goal should not have been called back. Look at John's eyes - he is going for the ball and it is incidental contact. He was not interfering with the goalie.

9 times out of 10 the goal would've been allowed IMO - John Terry's contact with Ricardo didn't seem like a deliberate foul and would probably have not been given as such in the UK Premier League. However, much as it pains me to admit it, the best team won on the night. It's always a shame when the result of the game comes down to penalties.

I wouldn't like to call the eventual winners now though...
 
hey, just clearing up, that i'm not agreeing with your opponions just coz i'm portuguese..coz i can say damm fine when they suck..like in the russia and greece game..they really suck... ::dead:: but in this game you have to afmit that they played better than the english coz they didn't gave up, and they pulled the right players at the tight tme (without Postiga and R.Costa we would have loosed missrably..)but i really liked the game, coz untill now, it was the only game that left me glued to the screen untll the last second..
and i do think that it was a fault..see a pic HERE ..the guy is grabing the goalkeeper.. if you still don't agree i won't argue anymoe (althought i stuborn as hell..im really tired abouth the fault or not discussion..) and besides, the game woudn't been as fun without the penaltys...but hey..that's just my oppinion..

Well now I'm realy looking forward to the game on wednsday. Holland- portugal
And one thing i'm sure of it's that Holland is toast there is now way we can beat protugal there is just mnoe hope they are way toog good :: running off to cry now ::

hum i really don't know Bloody_Angel.. they are very balanced teams..it really does gonna count a lot who's gionna have a good defense to stop the conterstikes from the other..
whatever it happesn,s i just hope we see a good match and thet the best team wins..
