Of course its biased voting, the UK will never win another again......but as long as we repeat the crappy 'Teenage Life' and the likes of Finland present Lordis 'Hardrock Hallelujah' then we have no right to complain, that song.....rocked.

I love Eurovision mainly because of its cheese factor....though there is one thing it will never be forgiven for.....it gave Celine Dion her big break...the bar-stewards

Heh yeah I've never watched Eurovision, some of my friends try to get me to watch it for some reason but it's just soo long and boring. I sometimes watch the end just to see who wins. Didn't this year, and haven't heard any of the songs (thank god I've been in the UK and missed Carola though) soo...

I wathed it when I was a kid, sometimes, I wasn't like a devoted fan. It is kinda crappy entertainment imo, but I think it's kinda fun still, in small doses. I did watch it this year though, and Carola scares me, she has crazy eyes.. And Lordi is just so weird, I saw a clip yesterday with some finish people, and everyone was crazy jumping up and down and all over the place singing the song.

Agreed on both the biased voting and the Celine Dion thing. There is no forgiving allowing her to start a career.

Can't say I'm a Eurovision fan but I do watch it for the Wogan commentary. Makes me laugh every single year.

The band that one this year (blatant Slipknot wannabes that they are) were actually quite good, in a cheesy way. Wouldn't say that I'll ever be buying their cd but it was at least a minor step in the right direction for rock music taking over the world ... as it should be!

I watch the Eurovision with my dad every year. I make a point of going home for it.

We sit with beer and snacks and subtitles on.

Its especially "amazing" on his 42 inch flat screen 🙂

This year was cheesy as always and our entry deserved the usual nil points. But Lordi were amazing and totally deserved to win.

Next year should be interesting then. Children of Bodom for Finland anyone?

Not often that I'd bother to quote myself but that "one" instead of "won" typo deserves a mention, even though I am taking the piss outta myself!

English is my first language! Honest!!! 😀

Terry Wogan 'makes' the eurovision song contest. I dont usually watch it but can usually hear it in the other room as my parents watch it whilst I'm on the computer. its a laugh and a half! My personal favourite part isnt the singing but the voting. The technical difficulties, the hosts attempting to cover up mistakes with 'amazing' pointless filler-crap. and the tactical voting that we all know is coming......just plain funny.

Wogans commentary and sometimes just plain mean insults are must see tv!

The winners this year were deserved! and once again this years United Kingdom entry......laughable.

see i never watched it, but soon as i heard a metal band won i had to see and hear who it was 🙂 hence clip lol.
tis time for rock to take over the world !!! mwhahahahahahah lol

and yeah UKs crap song woops i mean rap song.... lol heard it deserved nil points lol cant be as bad as last years gemini i think they were called?
