Nah, kidding. I'm rooting for Jedward but only because I'm incredibly embarrassed by Germany sending Lena for the second time.
 
Some of the songs in the semi final i watched were quite good. Looking forward to the final. There is usually at least one crazy song which brings me much amusement.😀

See, that's where I'm torn. I think Stefan Raab made a total idiot of himself with this idea (even more than before, I mean), but I find Lena frickin' awesome enough to not mind her singing for us again. 🙂

I'm with her on the expectations for how she'll score in it, though... she said a few days ago that she'll be happy with anything but last place in the tally. I reckon she'll end up somewhere mid, upper mid field, but I'd be massively surprised if she made it into the top ten again. (Which would still be better than any act we sent to ESC did in the last, like, ten years before her, right? 😛 )

Yup. That was Dustin the Turkey. He's an institution here in Ireland, we've all grown up watching him on The Den, a kids TV show. He was sent last year as a kind of "Up yours" to the ESC...I'm surprised we weren't banned lol
 
I highly doubt I'll be watching but you never know. I got friends that love it and I'm guessing most people at school, both kids and personal, will watch it so maybe I should so I know what they're talking about. What I do know is that the kids absolutely love the swedish contribution. The way it should be I guess even if everyone else hate it.
 
Well, I will unplug the TV and hide it in the closet so I don't turn it on by mistake during the broadcast.

Actually, what I really hate is the constant talking about it in the news... surely there is something else going on in the world that is more important?

"Important" things rarely sell. The news do what attracts vievers/readers. Blame them.

haha, so true about Zlatan. Guess he actually is something that is more important than Eurovision. :) And yep, it's all about what the readers want, still anoying though.
I am in love with Lena, her song this year is actually amazing! Blue will do Ok, does anyone else rate all the acts and see how close the top 5 are too mine, last year my ratings were identical for the top 4 😀

I so had a crush on Sandra Kim and I'm still listening to the song (and more from eurovision. Mostly from the older days, for me, though.)
We're only 3 songs in and I've eaten all my popcorn. I quite like this Denmark song though

That French entry was damn weird. It's either gonna rock the tally, or be a bottom feeder. Very different.
