evanescence and buffy

does anyone think that evanescence is the perfect band for buffy and angel?? i think that like all of their songs match what characters are going thru

"my immortal"- buffy and angel
"bring me to life"- spike
"going under- buffy" and spike
if u think of anymore fel free to add it

I know the time was different, but dont you think 'Hello' applies to Tara's death in Seeing Red?

I couldn't agree more Rene. I LOVE that band and every song reminds me of Buffy. It's really too bad that Buffy ended before they could really use any of their music. I hope they do on Angel. I'm always driving down the road listening to the songs and making up little Buffy videos in my head with the characters. I'm such a freak sometimes...
 
I totally agree. I love their album. There music really relates to Buffy and Angel. My fave song is Tourniquet, it reminds me of Faith.

lol...I've not gone as far as Rayne and made up videos in my head yet but there's still time 🙂
 
I do the same thing as Rayne, make up videos lol!
I also love Torniquet Jules! I think it says so much, and now you mention it, it does remind me of Faith!
 
Yup. And I love Bring me to life for Buffy/Spike 7th season and Haunted for them in the 6th season. Those are my faves for that but I'm gonna think more about this...
 
Thank you Ashsan, just another flavor of the month band and *cough Female Linkin Park. I just can't link the songs I heard by them to Buffy or Angel. But then again, I don't know anything that really links to Buffy or Angel, cept for maybe "don't fear the reaper" by Blue Oyster cult.
 
I think most of these songs are great to make into Music videos of Buffy and Angel...i actually do them and will be creating a site for real B/A music videos at some point. it started out as just for fun, but I'm really starting to want to share them. my latest work in progress is the "Jasmine Saga" set to Everybody's Fool by Evanescence.

Do you think it would fit on a show like that?
I mean the only music we got to hear was the characters in Cartias karaoke-ing (major SP? lol!)

Thank you, i say theyre the female linkin park and limp bizkit and people scoff at it.
 
HAD to edit to add a great big LOL! I had skipped some of the posts by mistake and I just realized that Jacklyn said Everybody's fool was a Jasmine song! I totally agree! And others were the same too! I get a huge kick out of that! But I'm just a big dork so carry on...

Ok, I thought about it a little and here is as brief as I can get...

Going Under-Spike's point of view from parts of season 6 and a good portion of season 7 when he starts to be better for himself and not just Buffy...

Bring Me To Life-Mostly Spike's point of view toward Buffy through parts of seasons 5-7.

Everybody's Fool- Going out on a limb here but I have to say it reminds me of Jasmine on Angel. Can't help it...

My Immortal-I will agree that it goes with the Buffy/Angel feel of season 3 mostly but it also reminds me a bit of Oz at the end of New Moon Rising.

Haunted- Gotta say reminds me of Buffy's point of view with the unhealthy aspects of her life and relationship with Spike in season 6.

Tourniquet- I agree with the Faith point of view...

Imaginary- Ok, I LOVE this song and have claimed it as a kind of a personal theme song but it reminds me of so many things Buffy related. Mostly...Buffy a bit in season 6 and Willow with the loss of Tara on a more emotional, less violent level.

Taking Over Me-My first thought to this song was from Buffy's point of view at the begining of season 3 when Angel comes back from the hell dimention. Also reminds me a little of Cordy and Angel end of season 3- begining of season 4 of Angel.

Hello-SO MANY reminders of SO MANY moments! A few...
That dream that Buffy had with Faith at the end of season 3 as well as Faith herself, Spike when Buffy died at the end of The Gift, Willow with the loss of Tara, Buffy with the loss of her mom and Giles with the loss of Jenny. More like a mental state for them all...God, I could think of a million more. That's deep.

My last breath- reminds me of a few things but mostly Tara dying.

Whisper- Another whoper- to save time and writing I'll say this one matches to Buffy most. Through many different moments/seasons. Each verse reminds me of a different time. A couple of verses remind me of Spike too. Mostly at the end of Chosen...

Ok. There. You could disect it all down to a novel but that's the off the top of the head version. 🙂
 
And I'd say it was a very good version!!
I definatley agree with the Hello thing
