Ya know, my best friend hates Evanescence with a passion and I respect that but it really one of those things I can't understand. I love her voice and the songs really hit home. She did explain that she just doesn't relate to the music. I figured that anyone could. I can usually see why people dislike a thing but this is just one of those that baffels me. I feel like she's missing out. But she did just go home with Season 2 of Buffy and I can already tell you we've snagged another one on the Buffy front! She's already hooked! ::evil1::

Someone called Evanescence, "female Linkin Park" and really that only applies to "Bring me to life" and maybe slightly "Going under" if you listen to their other stuff, epically from their "Origin" cd you'll have to admit they sound nothing like Linkin Park, and they only did the Linkin Park-ish sounding song to get their recording deal. The record label made it a stipulation to their recording contract. The band was totally against it, but gave in to the one song to finally get recorded.
Anyways, yeah some of the music could defiantly apply to Buffy or Angel. I believe I am repeating, but it is to bad they never got to use Evanescence on Buffy. It would be interesting to see what Joss would have used it for.

Definately. It's kinda like a Brandon Lee situation. Whenever I see a cool movie I wonder if he hadn't died would he have played this part or that part. It's the same thing. It's a bummer. I really think it would have hit the mood in a lot of scenes like no other song could have...

Yes that has to be even sadder than Buffy ending.
The endless possibilities to ponder.

At the off the topic risk I will say that I agree. Many movies I do that with take on a whole new light when you figure him into them instead. 🙂
