Amy Lee fired John, forced Ben, Will, and Rocky out of the band and has continuously acted in the compacity of a heinous bitch since then (alienating the fanbase, which sometimes includes having members banned from the forum for posting anything mean about her; having an extreme and blazingly apparent martyr complex; just to name a couple). She is a selfish, self-victimized bitch and THAT, children, ios what's with the Amy Lee hate.

I like Amy more than any of these people. Really she was the face of Evanescence anyways. Not interested in her personality at all, but I'm on her "side" for this one.

Thing is, Evanesence itself was never about Amy. Ev was a band, and in the band were four other guys who helped Queen Lee ascend to the status she's at today. She wouldn't be anywhere if it weren't for the aformentioned three members, including Will, David, AND the new members she threw in when she got sick of the old ones (Terry and Tim).
Really, it amuses me that she thinks so highly of herself because on the scale of celebrities the world gives a shit about, Amy doesn't even register on the radar. She only means anything to herself and the five fans she has left.
On the actual topic of We Are the Fallen, I think if Ben, Rocky and John wanna make music with another chick lead singer, they're more than welcome to do so without being labeled Evanescence Part Deux. I like Carly's voice, their sound is different and neat and they look like a ton of fun, so I'm game for what's next.

Yeah, if you guys saw some of the stuff Amy posts over at EvThreads then you'd understand Mesektet's hate. I don't like Amy Lee doesn't mean I don't like her music, I still listen to Evanescence semi-often, usually spam out the Fallen and Anywhere But Home albums for a day or two every month. The Open Door just didn't do it for me, I can barely listen to any of the songs. If you want proof of how spiteful and bitchy 'Lee' is you just need to head over to the Evanescence main site and know a few dates with the starting of WATF. WATF rumours started as early as June 17th and then WATF went official and announced a site would be up with a free download on June 22nd. Now on the Evanescence site after 4 months with zero updates on news on June 19th Amy suddenly updates specifically addressing how Ben 'left' Evanescence and how 'Evanescence' are now going into the studio to record new material. Does she feel threatened or something? That's how it seems to me. She seems scared because she knows who she basically destroyed a large part of her fan base and knows they're going to get behind WATF.
Just seems to me if your thinking about heading into the studio you tell your fans a few months before, a band usually posts like 'We're just finishing this tour and then we're gonna take a month out, see our families some and then we are headed back into the studio' Just this all of a sudden out of the blue which I believe is not coincidental with WATF going official.
Sorry for going on but Amy Lee is a bitch, but a bitch with a beautiful voice who I need to listen to every now and then.

I don't really give a damn if Amy is a biatch or not, she has a freaking amazing, haunting voice. And while I like this new We Are The Fallen band, the chick is not as good a singer as Amy.

Eh. I think Carly is a better singer, personally speaking. Her range kicks Amy's ass and she has more vocal control. Amy doesn't bother to take care of her voice when she tours, and I get the sense that Carly does because her live performances are WAAAAAAAAY better.
