Hi! I like the images you used for the icons. 🙂

My tip would be to try adding a little soft gradient colour....and try smaller more discreet text - if you use Photoshop then there are some excellent brushes available at this LJ community 100x100 brushes - if you don't already know about it. 🙂 For textures for icons, you could also try this other LJ community Icon Textures
