Eve Questions

Actually, if you watch the first few moments of Just Rewards (which follows on from the last few minutes of Conviction), right before you see the flashback to Chosen the dialog on-screen reads "Sunnydale, California. The Hellmouth. Nineteen Days Earlier".

Ah, okay. I'd mixed up my timeline. Still, 19 days would be awful fast for Eve to get employed and her and Lindsey to work magic as well as get the amulet out of the Hellmouth and do other things that I'm too tired to coherently type right now.

I'm also not ruling out a connection between Lindsey and those cyborg assassins.
I really hope this is a point that will go without saying it. (Although it'd be good if we got a line from Lindsay saying about how their cyborg plan failed). They set up some mysterious prescence who sent the cyborgs...if it wasn't Lindsey and EvilEve, then it must have been someone else. Can we fit another major player into the seasonal blender? Maybe ME will just leave this dangling thread unexplained, letting us use Lindsey to solve it for ourselves.

The only possible conclusion I can draw from this speculation: Eve may be evil, but she's still hot.

I'm so confused. Eve did sound sincere when she said "I'm not the bad guy". Maybe she and Lindsey are against the Senior Partners and also Angel, because they think he's corrupted. When she said "Spike didn't kill Angel", it seemed like that's what they were going for. And I want to know if Lindsey is Sean or really Lindsey, or what.
I think there's a possibility that Eve and Lindsey sent in the cyborgs, especially one that looked like Wesley's dad. They programmed it so the cyborg would grab Fred and they knew Wesley would kill him. Wesley then went on an absence, which was perfect timing for Sirk to tell Angel and Spike about the cup.

Okay, ix-nay on the indsey-Lay and-way Eve-way eing-bay enior-Say artners-Pay. I rewatched "Destiny" and Eve said that they slipped right past the Senior Partner's noses.

Of course we can't trust anything that Eve says... For all we know, everything that comes out of her mouth is a lie. Her sincerity when she said, "I'm not the bad guy," could just be really good acting.

well its obvious that Eve was just acting when she said that IM not the bad guy, her and Lindsay couldve been working on their plan for awhile now. I just wonder how the senior partners have so much power but cant see what Eve is doing with her boytoy.

Just had a thought. Everyone's assuming Lindsey's the mastermind, but suppose we've all got it backwards. What if Eve is the one pulling all the strings? Maybe she has some grudge against the senior partners so she recruited the guy with the biggest grudge of all...

1. Are they good or evil?

Hard to say, but from what we've seen of their acts so far, I can't really conclude good. Perhaps, they see Angel as an enemy because he's working for Wolfram and Hart. But then Eve would have lied, which I gotta say, doesn't sound very unlikely. Face it, what do we know about her? Nothing, so was she sincere or a good liar? Dunno.

2. Does Lindsey know everything Eve knows? Does this mean he knows about Connor? Will they play the "Connor" card?

I reckon, he does know everything she knows. If he's good and on their side, he will leave Connor out of it. If he's good and not on their side, he might leave him out of it or perhaps he will find the cause more important then the means. If he's evil, he's most likely to plan on using it sooner or later.

3. Eve took over for Lilah. How did L & E swing that? When Eve gets caught, and you know she will, will this create the return of Lilah?

Perhaps, the Senior Partners are already on to L&E, but let them play, as they might unintentionally have positive contributions to the grand scheme of things. If they didn't realise Eve was double-crossing them, they'll kick her out or kill her. Whether or not they will return Lilah is guesswork. But it'd say not.

4. What's with those tats?

I really don't know, perhaps to spook the viewers? I think they're just made up things with no hints in them.

5. What is their relationship with Sirk?

How about an employer/employee relationship. Whether he was really a watcher or not, that I don't know. Perhaps he just lied that up. seems rather irrelevant to me whether he really was a watcher or not.

6. The subject of Watcher's keeps coming up. Is there an E & L/Watcher connection?

Sirk was an employee of theirs, Roger was a robot of theirs. The fact that they both disguised as watchers was just for conveniance. Whether the subject of watchers will be brought up more often is yet to be seen, they might or might not. Has all to do with what Joss has planned for us after this arc. The whole L&E thing is for now, the watchers (if they will really become an issue) is probably something for later.

7. Do E & L have access to the cyborgs?

Offcourse! It seems to me, that they've been behind the whole Roger Wyndham-Pryce thing aswell. So the borgs were theirs.

Another thing, in Life of the Party Eve said:

Angel, it's not like this is the first time I've had sex under a mystical influence.

Could she be under the magical influence of Lindsey and his tattoos?

Ooooh....interesting questions...

1. Are they good or evil?

Hmm.....I don't think Eve is evil. She's just not giving off that evil vibe. A little wicked, yes, maybe she'll do/has done evil things, but I see her finding some kind of redemption or doing good somewhere.

Also, if you look at the Biblical connotaion of her name. Eve in the Bible wasn't evil; she was just tempted into one evil act. Hey! Maybe Lindsay is the head honcho and he's coerced Eve into following along?

2. Does Lindsey know everything Eve knows? Does this mean he knows about Connor? Will they play the "Connor" card?

They will definitely play the "Connor" card if they want to manipulate Angel.

3. Eve took over for Lilah. How did L & E swing that? When Eve gets caught, and you know she will, will this create the return of Lilah?

I think she's being too crafty to be caught anytime soon. Maybe in the future. But either way, I can't imagine Lilah coming back 🙁

4. What's with those tats?

I never got a really close look, but there were tons of symbols in the tattoos and also on the walls. Maybe some kind of concealer spell/magick to hide Lindsay or hide their intentions?

5. What is their relationship with Sirk?

I think they just coerced him into working with them.

No thoughts on the last two....will have to ponder.

There is a DISTINCT similarity between the two. But does that mean the Senior Partners don't know about Spike because the scars would protect him from being found out by the SP and Eve wouldn't tell the SP about him because she's in cahoots with Lindsay?

As you can see Spike's wounds have healed and he does not show any scars. So I'm guessing the Senior Partners know he's there, unless the carvings effects are permanent. But here's a new theory (in a new thread offcourse)

Lindsey is an agent of the First

Kim at Joss's stakehouse has brought up that eve looks a lot like and has similar manerisms of The little girl in the white room- rahtet mesketet they really do look alike.
