@Bop showed me this trailer. I had no idea there was going to be a new Garfield movie. I'm not too fond of the animation style but it looks cute and fun.

I want to check out Murder at the End of the World, but I havent seen a preview yet.
 
I don't know how I feel about this. It just looks so much like Fury Road. Not sure that's really a good thing. It'll instantly be compared to it. But I'm sure @HowiMetdaSlayer will think "it could be good"
 

This is looking like one of the most promising new shows for next year so far. Good leads, decent Scifi premise, plus Apple TV has a decent record with this sort of show and will at least put the money behind it.

It looks good. Julia Garner is usually reliable.

And its because the outback is freaking scary!
Walkabout is a great film. I saw Wake in Fright for the first time recently and that was quite unsettling. It gets great reviews but be careful about watching it if you are squeamish. There is a real kangaroo hunt in the film which was controversial even in the 70's as per quote in wiki

"The hunt lasted several hours, and gradually wore down the filmmakers. According to cinematographer Brian West, "the hunters were getting really drunk and they started to miss, ... It was becoming this orgy of killing and we [the crew] were getting sick of it." Kangaroos hopped about helplessly with gun wounds and trailing intestines. Producer George Willoughby fainted after seeing a kangaroo "splattered in a particularly spectacular fashion". The crew orchestrated a power failure in order to end the hunt"

UGH... at least the original you could use the 'it was the 80s' defense... this?

Yeah I have little interest in this, apart from Gyllenhaal is noramlly decent in action roles at least, but that's about it.
