Just wondering if anyone here has done anything heroic. You know like walking into a burning building to save a damsel in distress. Or maybe getting a cat down from a tree 🙂.

People call me a hero because I help them through their everyday lives. I don't think that's being heroic as much as it's counseling.

lol...nice thread...

where's jackie??

i know my man grayson would mos def be rockin this thread...

I saved my best friend from losing her job because she was being framed of steeling money. Not sure if that's heroic. I also got a guy who sexually harrased the same girl fired, is any of those heroic?

Why? Do you consider me heroic? 🙂

Well, there's the whole thing with my schizo ex-roomate (see would you die for the on you love thread) but there's also the time I punched the man who raped my best friend when he tried to get at her again. (Punching people in the face hurts! Do you guys realize that?!) 😀

cool thread!! i think that the most heroic thing i have done was when me and my best friend saved a little kitten form being kicked around by a gang of lads. but im not sure that you could call that heroic.

LOL! Good for all of you! Especially you Jacklyn! What a piece of...anyway, I have helped lots of people with counceling...saved many animals that were injured...collected hundreds of canned goods for the homeless on more than one occasion...I've welcomed friends to stay with me when they had nowhere else to go...protected friends from bullies...hmmm...ya think any of that will count for all the naughty things I've done? I think I have to save a few lives before I cash in...😀

Hm...

The most heroic thing I've probably ever done was when I saved a kitten from my best friend's dog.Well, actually be both saved it.Probably the most heroic thing she's ever done too.

She'll probably be along to tell us about it soon, lol(she's a member of B-B).

Good idea for this thread, btw. 😛

Exactly, which is why I'm not telling you that I am in fact the Royal Dutch Caped Crusader 😉

Done that too-my ex-roomate moved in with me for that very reason 🙂 Her mother kicked her out-she lived with me for YEARS.

I was hanging around in the school parking lot when one of my friends pointed out that a couple of idiot cowboys were trying to fashion a noose around a turtle. I promptly threw all my stuff on the ground and stormed over to where they were at. I said a few not so nice things, grabbed the turtle, ripped the rope off and threw it in one guys face and called him a few more not so nice things. We got a box for it, and one of my teachers held it during classes that day until I could get it back to the lake. Animal cruelty is a big no-no with me. I'll put myself in harm's way for any animal.

I don't think I've done anything that's concidered heroic like saving cats from a burning building, or cat out of a tree (I live in a small town, there's litterally little to no fires, and hardly anything that constitutes as a major danger...) But I do stick up for myself and my friends when they need it.

wow! i wish to give you a clap on the shoulder!! good going!!!

i don't really remember doing anything heroic!! i found a cellphone once and returned it and i found a wallet and returned it.. but i don't think that counts, cause that should be common manners!! 😉

You know, my daughter had to have a blood transfusion within two hours of being born (she was 12 weeks premature) and it helped to save her life. So i consider anyone who gives blood to be a hero. 🙂

But personally, i don't think i've ever done anything heroic.

I haven't really done anything heroic as such- but i did jump out of a moving bus on holiday when i was about 8/9 as the bus started to pull away with me still on it! I rolled along the ground but got no major injuries.
