In Lessons they say this like 3 million times.... and then no mention of it again... could it have a meaning in the end?

yeah, they did just kinda dismiss that huh? it probably should have more significance. they could use that principal to try diffferent kinds of spells or something. maybe they've been purposely not mentioning it to suprise us with something based on it later. only time will tell........

Or maybe it was a part of Willows time in England at the coven where she was going to learn how to handle her powers without going all destructive ultimate evil? 😛

they say it again in "same Time, Same Place" when willows sitting on the bed 'healing' herself and buffy comes in
willow talks about how everythings connected'
abd then the shaman trying to make buffy take in 'evil' power that shows that all "power" is connected
i dont think theyve forgotten or dismissed the notion of "everyting is connected" theyre merely being a little more subtle at forcing it down our throats lol

You are right Lily, it hasnt been forgotten!!!

In Lessons also "Power" was said over 10 times has it been said any more???

Maybe it will appear again in the end. Like, they can't kill the First because good and evil are one - "connected." You can't have one without the other, so if all Evil wa destroyed, all Good would be too since they are connected.

But who knows?! 🙂

Willow just kept saying that in that episode because it was a new lesson for her and she was excited about it. It's rather alarming to me that a magic user that claims to be Wiccan could be that far advanced in powers and not understand that everything's connected to everything else. That's kind of a basic underlying principle. It's the foundation for lots of other things. Maybe she already knew it but had never really thought about it in deptph before. That happens sometimes.

Willow often displays utter contempt for new-age teachings. Mainly because, at least on BtVS, they are shown to be utter bunk, and overhyped. Power is power. The message is there. Willow doesn't need to speak latin to cast a spell requiring latin. She doesn't even need to finish the incantations for many spells. She just taps into her source of power and let's rip, often without any gestures or utterances of any kind.

Willow is primarily an intelectual; not a religious devotee. She will figure out what works, and use it. Any unnesessary mumbo-jumbo along the way will get tossed aside. That's her M.O. So when claiming she is wiccan, I think that on BtVS she is by definition. A human woman, with magic, who uses spells and psychic energy to achieve results. Wiccan or witch, by BtVS standards. She doesn't need to have an earth-mother bake-off sale to prove it, that's for wanna-blessed-be's. 😉
