did anyone think anya was really evil to willow in "older and far away"? she's trying so hard to combat her addiction and i could imagine just how awful she felt having to say no to her friends. i actually felt really sorry for willow in that ep. both the writers and actresses in this programme are so clever in potraying willow as both annoying yet getting us to sympathising with her, how cool!!!😀

To be honest, I think Anya and Willow just never got along to begin with. It all started back in "The Wish" episode where Anya calls Willow an idiot child for screwing up the spell and then Willow punches her lights out during the big fight scene at the Bronze. I always thought it was funny how they always rubbed shoulders the wrong way. However, in "Older and Far Away" the conflict between them wasn't so humorous.

Worse was the way that Xander sided with Anya! I can forgive Anya most things as she is still newly human and she doesn't understand a lot of the human problems... but Xander should have known better. It was so selfish of them to ask.

However I'd love to give Tara a big hug for the way ahe was so understanding... the horror in everyone's faces when Willow said she had some stuff stashed away... but she was strong enough not to use it... even when she was asked to, and she really deserved recognition for that.

I was very proud of Willow for not giving in t temptation. I can kinda see where anya and Xander are coming from. When lives are on the line and the only thing that can save them is Wilow's magic, well then what is the best way to handle the stiuation? I don't know. But I think Xander could have been a lot more understanding of Willow. he has been able to support both Anya and Willow before, he should have been able to do so then. That did make me mad, but at the same time I understand, they just didn't have to be so harsh.

yeah naughty xander!!! he has always said that willow is his best friend, although i could understand the difficulty of having to side either you r best friend Or your fiance!!

yeah, but he's worked that through before. He could've sided with Anya, but have been more conscientious of Willow's problems. Afterall, he and Anya were the one's talking to Buffy about Willow's problems before Buffy even knew Willow was having problems with magic.

The relationship between Willow and Xander runs deep. They have been through so much together, even childhood. And perhaps thats what gets to Anya for as much as she loves Xander, him and Willow have more of a history together.

Yeah, Anya has always felt insecure about her relationship with Xander when qwillow is concerned, but I thought most of that was worked out when last season Anya and Willow worked together to stop the Ogre. I guess she still has those insecurities.

okay i felt really sorry for willow. don't all shout at me at once though, but i just think that anya was scared. she was trapped in a house and her fiance was attacked... She has a big problem with losing people, (as we saw when joyce died,) because she doesn't understand. but i agree that she was out of order with willow... oh i felt sorry for them both.
love cordy xx xx

I liked the way she went after Willow! Okay, she was blunt, but somebody had to say it, especially with somebody shishkabobed upstairs. I especially loved it when she flipped out at Dawn. Her claustraphobia is endearing...

Remember when those Council guys invaded the Magic Box and started asking questions about the strange happenings, during the episode where the Knights of Byzantine first made their presence known? Well, Anya tried to make it sound like it's all Willow's fault. She was afraid that the Council guys would figure out that she's not completely human and so tried to shift the attention to Willow.

I just think she's so scared about being mortal that she's doing not-so-honorable things to try to deal. Of course, many things go wrong.
