I'm sorry to bring this up but I really hate this episode. I'm a huge Cordy fan and I just hate seeing that happen to her. Does anybody else hate this episode as much as me?

The only good thing about it is when Wes is facing off with the demon and he starts rambling off about David and Goliath and stalling for time.

Also why did Cordelia sleep with Wilson? I know he's supposed to be charming or whatever but she dated Xander forever and never slept with him, and made Doyle wait an eternity just to go on a date with her. This episode just seemed to unjustly put her character through hell (something AtS does all too frequently with Cordy for me).

Can´t say that it´s my favourite episode but hate would be pushing it.

Why she slept with Wilson? First off, Xander was a few years before so that was kind of different. Talking sexuality a lot can happen in those few years. And even if she was popular it doesn´t mean she ran around sleeping with people. Doyle? Well, it took her a while before she realized she even liked him. And it wasn´t immediately physical attraction. Wilson was good looking, rich (yes that can play a part and you all know it, but the keyord is "can") and charming so to end up in bed after a nice time on the town is really not that hard to understand. It´s not like it´s unheard of.

also, he was what Cordelia always pictured herself with, she wasn't fighting her inner 'queen C' to accept his failings, he was the rich hot guy that would take her fancy places and make her feel like a princess, which is definitely what she was searching for in LA at that time, plus once your virginity is gone, it doesn't tend to be AS big a deal the next time you get in that same place.

aand storyline-wise, we got to see a different side of Cordy, that I guess was weirdly mirrored in S4 (oooh Cordy carrying demon spawn and her body going all evil-protective) huh, I never actually realised that was recycled plot before now 🙁

Don´t know... I didnt hate it, but it was a weird episode.

I didnt understand also why she slept fim him, i´ve read all the answers but id didnt convince me lol

Maybe she was charmed for him and all but she would never do that! Just get the guy in her bed first night, even being Cordelia from school. Well, my opinion ^^

ps: btw, the gigant monster was terrible >.<

i didn't have any problem with the episode. It's not the best, but it's a good episode. I loved all the "classic" season 1 episodes. They were all stand-alones, so it was an easier series to get into (which makes me kind of glad season 5 went back to that). This episode was a funny one, too. Especially when Cordy and Wes were in the hospital waiting room..

I don't think Cordelia was a virgin before she slept with Wilson. In Bad Eggs she talks about a "friend" who was doing it in a Miata on top of the hill and she kicked the gear shift and you get the point. Even though Cordelia is my favorite character, I hardly ever like the episodes that are centered around her too much. I found it kinda weird that she slept with Wilson but haven't they been seeing each other for a while? I haven't seen the episode in a while so I don't remember.

If she wasn't a virgin anymore, why didn't she sleep with Xander? I can understand it if it's the other way around, if a girl is still a virgin and the guy not, but if the girl has had sex already and the boy not I just don't see it. Also, in this episode Cordy said that she doesn't invite people over often (or ever)...I understood that with this she meant in the sense of having the intention of getting it on. And about the 'friend', what if it was in fact just that, a friend? 'Friend' doesn't ALWAYS have to mean you're talking about yourself.

I always assumed that Cordelia was talking about herself in the Bad Eggs episode. That is why I'm surprised she never slept with Xander. It just seemed a little out of her character to sleep with Wilson that quickly but she did go to Russell Winters house late at night.
