"Expendables 2"

My wife and I saw this last weekend (great movie, if you like violence played to the point that it goes beyond absurd and becomes almost comedic) and Charisma had a small role at the beginning as one of the merc's girlfriends, recreating the role that she played in the first one. At first, I didn't even recognize her. She looks younger and prettier now than she ever did on "Angel." She must be spending a LOT of time in the gym these days.

Hehe, seems we're back to not being on the same page again. It was fun while it lasted, though, wasn't it? 🙂 Don't get me wrong, she's still an incredibly attractive woman, but she looks closer to her age now than she ever did in Buffy or Angel, which I think is a good thing. All too often now, actresses in their 30s and 40s are bowing to pressure and getting so much work done that they look like waxwork dummies of themselves.

I'm probably gonna watch the movie, but I don't know when. I don't want to watch it in German, because you have to watch a movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger in English. 😀

Anyway, I have seen the first one and Charisma looks amazing in it!

I loved this movie, one of the best movies I've ever seen, it really is every action lovers dream. Charisma had a small role, but it's still nice to see her getting mainstream attention

All too often now, actresses in their 30s and 40s are bowing to pressure and getting so much work done that they look like waxwork dummies of themselves.

That's because there are so few decent roles available for women 30 or older, and the ones that there are go to actors more famous and, let's be honest, more talented than Charisma, Sarah, Alyson, Eliza, or any of the other Buffy/Angel alumnus. About all that are left are bit parts like Charisma's in the two "Expendables" movies.

I thought this film was ok. Charisma's role was incredibly small, but she looked amazing and did great with the role that she had. The action was unbelievable, there was little storyline and the quotes thrown in from previous action films were incredibly cheesy but I did enjoy it.
