#ExplainThe90sIn4Words

Are you saying that if Willow had been this, you would not have loved her character?
Thank god for Alyson Hannigan! Not because she's skinny but her version of Willow is just so much better than Riff Regan's. She just wasn't a good actor. As for SMG, it would be hard to believe that a slayer, who has a fast slayer metabolism and has to do all this fighting, would be fat. And I don't like Tara, not because she looks like a normal person. I like that she's not a stick figure super model actually, I just don't care for the character. So I think sometimes it depends on if the actor needs to be believable in the role. If their physicality doesn't matter, then it's what the actor does and how the character is written that makes them watchable not their looks. There are plenty of great actors out there who aren't that good looking. Just like there are actors that are terrible even though they are hot. I'm won't talk about my thoughts on obese people. I will just say that people should strive to be a healthy weight.

As for me 90's in four words
Spice World the movie!

You people crack me up. Is it really offensive to expect healthy weight from actors? Is it offensive to expect healthy weight from anybody? Is not being obese some kind of an achievement now? You're a part of the problem - you accept it, believe it to be normal. You know what, whatever, I'll show myself out.

If you're obese you have more important things to worry about than following your dreams, like your health. Take your pills if you need to - in this day and age this shit is easily treatable and more importantly, start eating like a human.

You bet - I'd hate her guts. Yes, I'm evil but tell me and be honest here - would you still love Angel if he looked like Balthazar from "Bad Girls"? Or James Gandolfini for that matter? Can you imagine sex scene and not vomit in the process?

My mistake, it's actually from 2009 so already in her 30s but honestly, the point still stands, it's 2015 and she's still prettier than Dunham by the virtue of not being a small elephant.

Again, is that an achievement? She's still obese.

I'd rather be shallow than be a liar.

But you contredicted yourself on the Gandolfini point because people did/do love him. They love him because he was a great actor and because that character will go down as one of the great television characters. Since when has being fat had anything to do with being attractive? Not saying that personally I would be more likely to be attracted to a fat person than a skinny person. But there are good looking fat people, and more importantly I would not judge their personality or acting on their weight like you are.

If you are trying to make some kind of general point about the danger of being overweight then that is one thing, but you are not you are trying to reduce an actor's talent and personality to their bodytype, which is quite freakly bullocks.🙄

And on you're last point. If you are telling the truth or at least your version of it then you are doing so only because you have the internet to hide behind, bet you don't talk to people like this in the street. Besides which I just think you are trolling.

Yeah I call Troll as well.
In a valiant effort to stay on topic: (novel for me I know)-

How about:

Roland Emmerich destroys stuff. (The big summer blockbuster was born)

Invasion Of Teen Pop. (Britney, Christina, legions of boy-bands...urgh)

Nazi's Did Bad Stuff (Schindler's List, The English Patient, Saving Private Ryan, etc.)

The Circle Of Life. (Disney had a good few hits)

Jar Jar f***ing Binks! 😀 (Phanton Menace was in 1999 and its still the only thing one of my friends can focus on about that era...)

Britpop creates Cool Britannia. (this really only applies to the UK but it was a big thing over here)

The Boy Who Lived

Britpop verses teen pop (oasis, blur and the like against spice girls, take that and boyzone)

Princess of Wales death

This is actually really hard, I remember loads about the 90's but putting it into only four words is hard

Blaze
Blaze
The boy who lived karma
Same Sh$t, Different Decade

If only that were true...

Just add bloody to every setence if that helps😉

Back on topic....

The 90's for me in 4 words...
Buffy The Vampire Slayer 😀

Yeah, pretty much. 😀

Even though that wasn't just the 90s. And I would probably use those words for the other decades too. 😵
