Eyghon's Mark on Buffy

Since Ethan removed the mark from himself and that successfully kept Eyghon from attacking him, I would have to say yes. Plus, Eyghon jumped into the body of Angel and the demon inside him fought Eyghon and won. The next victim would have been Giles and he is never attacked, so it appears to be dead. But like everything in the Jossverse, dead doesn't always mean forever.

I think given what we know about Eyghon, especially the stuff from A&F, it is perfectly in line with canon that Eyghon could take over Buffy without her having to be unconscious or dead.

I think she is. It seems something like that should be more than skin-deep. (Though Ethan seemed to think so... I would guess that removing the tattoo might slow down the demon from attack, the link might be weakened by the loss of the mark, but I would guess that the link is still there.)

Though now this makes me wonder if Buffy even counts since - though forcefully tattooed with the mark - she was never part in the summoning of the demon as Ethan, Giles and company were. It seems that their 'bond' to the demon would be a lot stronger than was hers...
