Anybody ever have a Fairy Tale-like experience? I know sometimes we only see the cup as half empty, but sometimes wonderful things happen.


When I was a Junior in High School, I was in looovvve with this kid named Johnny for like 3 years prior. I had to find a date to my Junior Prom, so I got up all my nerve and called and asked him and he agreed. I was all dolled up in a pretty white gown and at the prom he asked me to be his girlfriend. It was like I was dreaming..definitely one of the happiest moments of my life...
 
No fairy tales as of yet for me. Not out of high school yet so maybe one will happen before I graduate?
 
More of my happy moments have occurred post-high school myself. Just that one stood out to me as a real-life fairy tale
 
Oh, how I love magical moment's like the one you just described, Cordy Chase! It truly sounds like a fairy tale evening, I hope you will never forget that night!

I have had some magical moments in my life, I'm still waiting for my, "happily ever after" though.

My first kiss was pretty magical, it was in the desert under the Arizona sky as it was filled with an abundance of shiny stars! We were all alone and it was oh-so-sweet. :hearton: I was only 15 then and a simple kiss exploded a million starbursts inside of me that made me dizzy with teenage desire! :star:

Well,I was once dating a guy(handsome,smart and rich),he didn't like Spangel so I turned him into a frog...ya know,the prince-frog issue...sorry,wanted to reply to Faldor without sounding spammer much...ignore me😛
 
I once had a love-at-first-sight experience (of course, that was before my other four senses kicked in....j/k). It was one of the best things I can remember. Truly hard to explain.
I was just innocently walking down the grocery aisle (with my mom.....) babbling on and on about Natalie Imbruglia and Liz Hurley (do they look at all alike?) and I look up and there's this guy at the opposite end of the aisle and we make eye contact and just.......wow. *Sighs* It was perfect. Of course, I didn't do anything, and I moved 1500 miles away so my odds of ever seeing my once-and-only are slim, but trust fate, right?
 
I can't say I've ever had a fairytale experience yet, though I have had a few guardian angel ones.

I don't know if any of you remember, but about five? years ago when the wind was so strong at the Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade that the bolloons went out of control and knocked over a lightpost, putting a woman in critical condition and wounding a few others. It was going to be my first time seeing the parade other than in TV, and we had planned to get there early to get a good spot around the parade route (which was the exact place where the balloons went crazy!). Well, a few last minute searches for cameras left us pulling into the Ronconkoma train station just as the train was pulling out. We still got to the parade, but had to watch from a different place, meaning I got al the fun of seeing the parade and none of the pain of getting hit with a light pole.
 
Fairy tales...hmmm...well, I guess there were a couple of times I saw a guy and just went WOW. But none of those worked out so I wouldn't call it a fairy tale...although the last time I did that it turned out for the better...so far anyway...the jury's still out on this one. I'll let you know in about 50 years if it workes out...in the next ten if it doesn't...but wait, I never got no stinkin' glass slipper OR a castle on a hill...HEY! If this IS a fairy tale I got Jipped!
