Faith and Kendra's Last Names to be Revealed

Alex asked FOX what the surnames for Kendra and Faith were so that we could use them in the upcoming Watcher Sourcebook.

FOX said Joss/Mutant Enemy never created those names.

So..... FOX asked Joss/Mutant Enemy if they could create those official names for the book which will be carried into future novels, comics, etc.

Yeah I liked the comment there, where that one person said Faith's last name should be Winters.

What I don't get is how they can give Kendra a last name:

Is it desperately tragic that this is the most exciting thing this week for me? And I left my job, had an interview and moved house today...

Well this is interesting...although I kinda liked the mystery of not knowing...at least in Faith's case...as for Kendra...Cordelia brought up a good point, although perhaps she just doesn't know her last name since her whole life she's been brought up to one day be 'The Slayer' ... therefore, that's her identity.

Yea thanks! I remeber a long while ago we had a thread trying to work it out, but never did.
And Kendra could say, she really did have a surnaem, just didnt want to give it out to old scary men aka giles.

Does anyone think this is an actual clue or just a joke, if it is it could be an anagram or something, what do you think?
 
This is so cool 😀 Is this 'watcher sourcebook' like the watchers guide? or is it an actual book? anyone know?
 
Vampire Slayer: To answer your question, I think it isn't. But I think they said tghat because what does Rosencrantz sound like? Rosenberg. And what does Guildenstern? Guiles.maybe thats a little spin to other charecters names?
 
I don't think there's anything to the Rosencrantz and Guildernstern comment. They are two characters from Hamlet (and also the play "Rosencrantz and Guildernstern Are Dead") and are often used to represent a pair of people by well-read show-offs 🙂
 
Why wouldn't Kendra have a last name? This doesn't make any sense. Is this a new name she had made up for herself? Or was she simply born as Kendra?

Just out of interest - Eden studios have made the first chapter of the book available for download (Link when I can find it again) I've downloaded it, and no neither of the names are mentioned. Worth a shot. 😀
