This week's round-up of hard facts and shameless rumour-mongering is for those of you who just can't wait for Buffy's seventh season or Angel's fourth.

Ain't It Cool News reports that Joss Whedon has succeeded in wooing Eliza Dushku to return as Faith. Despite a hectic schedule, which includes horror flick Wrong Turn, Dushku is expected to battle Angelus during the latter half of Angel's fourth season.

The staff at Angel Investigations will find they need the help of a Hannibal Lecter-like creature to tackle a villain, revealed Angel producer David Simkins. Only Angelus, not Angel, can save the day, however - and what happens to the baddest vamp of all afterwards?

The Buffy cast will be back on song for season seven's fifth episode, as a flashback to Once More, With Feeling allows Emma Caulfield to perform a new musical number.

Joss revealed the news at the San Diego Comic-con this weekend. He also previewed scenes from upcoming sci fi series Firefly - reportedly much improved since its re-tooling to add more action and comedy.

My speculation is that they'd find a way to convince the prison officials to let her out just for this moment and then send her back in once she's done her job.
 
or just , you know steal her out with the use of magics, always a possibility if the real life element wouldn't cooperate 😉 Sounds good though!
 
YAY!!!! I would love to see Faith return..shes my favourite character!!!!!!Yay YAY YAY YAY is all i have to say..oh and also do a little dance..lol
 
yeah i guess i like Faith better now then i did when she was on last...i don't know...there is a Buffy novel that has come out recently about her return...it seems pretty good...in it the Council cuts a deal to get her out, and thats all i know, i haven't finished it
 
OOoo did I see another Musical Number in the works for Emma Caulfield... maybe it'll be a break away pop hit 😀

And Faith... getting out... maybe she sees the TV, lots of Violence, killing, the Usual when Angelus is out and about... severe blood loss etc etc.... then JAIL break in an exciting fasion... or possibly just parole... that'd be the easy way out.... 😀
 
i dont get it - will faith be fighting with AI or against? will she be good or bad? P.S. is justine the third slayer or not, coz if she is, she's a pretty lame one - she gets trashed by everyone. and if she isnt, who is?

I think Justine's just a vampire vigilante because one of them killed her twin sister, not a real slayer.
 
It would be impossible to have a third slayer, unless faith died and was ressurected or sumthing
 
that is exactly why it wouldn't be impossible to have three slayers. people are killed and then brought back to life on buffy and angel all the time.
