Faith Spinoff Info

I'd like to see Spike do a couple of show's on Angel (I think they would make a great duo). But I wouldn't mind if he did a spinoff with Faith.

It will be interesting to see what this show looks like. Last time I saw Faith, which was on Buffy, she was still the anti-hero, with a dark streak a mile wide. I understand she gave herself up, and a lot of people expect her to return as an ally to Buffy and Angel, but personally, I still hope she retains some of that darkness. She would just be less interesting without it.

But I don't know how I would personally respond to a protanganist with Faith's demeanor. Buffy may not be perfect, but I, at least find her sympathetic. I don't know if I could be sympathetic enough towards Faith. I'd hope (and trust) that ME won't just try to recreate "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". The new show would have to have a different theme and feel, which may mean it will look a lot more like Angel. But again, how would it differ from Angel, which from what I understand, is basically about a once-evil creature now seeking redemption?

Personally, I'd be more interested in seeing ME do something entirely different from Buffy and Angel. I would rather that another network pickup Firefly than they do another spinoff of Buffy.

I talked to the President of 20th Century Fox earlier this year, and in November, Joss was working on a "very interesting" spin off revolving around the Slayers in Training, a sort of Slayer school. I can definitely see him pulling Faith into the mix, but the fact that he was working on this spin off several months ago makes me think that maybe faith is ONE player in this spin off. At the time I talked to the Pres (who was way cool and works with Joss a lot), they were trying to get Alyson Hannigan to commit. Anyway, thought I'd share.

i recall reading somewhere that Eliza Dushku was already signed on to do a different show for a totally different network, and Faith the Vampire Slayer was a goner.

I read it somewhere in this forum, but I can't remember where.

Has anyone heard about the last episode? I have heard it's being called, "The Final Hour" and Angel will be returning to Sunnydale for the last episode of Buffy.

I also heard it was confirmed that SMG said this would be her final season of Buffy.

the last episode is called "Chosen", Sarah quits is true

as for Angel > spoilertags!

Faith info -
if Eliza Dushku doesnt sign on for a Faith spin - off the character is supposed to die. The way shes supposed to die is she gets bitten by a vampire, and turned into one, Buffy has to stake her herself, or Spike does it. This is completely unconfirmed news - Faith is supposed to get bitten by an Ubervamp, and Faith doesnt suck his blood, its something like the Ubervamp doesnt need to do what normal vamps do, they suck your blood, you suck theirs, Ubervamps bite you and you turn. But this is probably untrue
