We all know Faith has seduced Angel and slept with Riley. Has 3 years in jail really rehabilitated her? Spoilers I've heard say that she gets together with Wood and makes Buffy jealous when she talks with Spike. I hope these aren't true!

Faith was, is and will always be a bad girl...... once a bad girl always a bad girl..... she'll always be the same no matter what she thinks and makes people believe!

Faith slept with Riley? In what episode and in what season? I know this might sound stupid but I'm not a big follower of BTVS but I'm a big fan of Faith.

That is probably the stupidest remark anyone could make about a character in the buffyverse. It really shows your lack of understanding of what these two shows are about.

Angel changed - forced.
Spike changed - choice.
Willow changed - choice.
Ripper (Giles) changed - choice.
Andrew changed - choice.
Cordelia changed - choice.
Linsey changed (twice) - choice.

Need I go on? Both BtVS and AtS are about NOTHING if not the ability to choose your own destiny.

I don't think she despises Buffy, she just wanted to be like Buffy, and didn't like the fact she was always compared to buff. (season 4) Buffy was always the good slayer, Faith felt she needed to get her own attention, I think that's why she originaly turned bad, but I think she's reformed from the Angel eps 5-by-5 and sanctuary in the first season.

I think if Faith is given the chance she will redeem herself... she's a cool charcter and was my favorite in S3 of Buffy. I believe she can change but it will take time....

Honestly, just because you are not EVIL anymore, doesn't mean you can't enjoy a good loveless roll in the hay! Just look at Buffy! She does it all the time! 😀

she's still bad

She's still bad as in a major butt-kicker, but her staying in jail for three years when she could easily escape proves she is not evil.

People that think instead of spouting what they hear others say know that.

Faith's not evil anymore, but she's still bad. She always was. She's promiscuous, sexy, and she knows it & flaunts it. She's confident (well, not so much anymore), but when she wants something done, she does it, and does it good. It's why I love her.

I love faith and yes she will always have a bad side to her... but she does not hate buffy! if you watched Angel she talked to Angel about how bad she felt. She knew buffy was always there for her pratically even after all the horrible things she did. Faith may be a bad girl at heart. but she does not hat buffy and I think she has changed. Laaruk I agree with you like 100%

The two shows are about how you can make your own choices in life.

Like in Angel when they wanted to get Cordy back and they talked to that big guy...(forget his name) he said that their life was planned out basically "Sure you get to make the little choices, but the big thing is all planned out" or something to that extent, and then they were talking about how they all do have choices.. this is a reacuring theme in both Buffy and ANgel. PEOPLE DO CHANGE. and Faith has probably too.

First of all, that in no way prooves anything.

Second of all, please refrain from posting negative personal comments like that.

First of all, how does that in no way prove anything? An evil person would voluntarily stay in jail for 3+ years when they could escape at anytime, why exactly?

On the contrary, it proves a lot. At the end of Five-by-Five we are given insight into what Faith is going through when she begs Angel to kill her. Sanctuary continues that with how much she hurts and how she realizes that she has done things that she can never take back. Then at the end of Sanctuary she voluntarily turns herself in and (presumably) makes a confession and gets 25-life.

In Salvage, Release and Orpheus we are given more proof that she has changed. The least of which not being that she is willing to risk dying to save Angel.

So her staying in jail proves nothing? I think your anger at my second statement is clouding your judgement.

And speaking of my second statement. It wasn't a personal comment, it was a general statement. Half this thread, and others like it, are little more than 'I don't like her because...' (she has dark hair, or I don't like her because she slept with Xander, or I don't like her because she has a tattoo.)

Whatever.

All I ask is that if people don't like Faith or Angel or Cordy or Willow or Dawn or whomever, give good reasons.

This is what we usually get for reasons:

Dawn whines. Faith is slutty. Xander is fat. Cordy is gross.

I would much prefer:

I don't like Dawn because she constantly whines and needs to grow up and realize that she is not the most important thing in the life of the scoobies. They have been saving the world longer than she has (really) been alive and she cannot always be a priority.

or

I don't like Faith because she tried to be evil for so long that she is overcompensating now. She is not being herself and it shows. She has always been 'loose', look at what she did to Xander. I don't think I can really forgive her for that.

or

Willow needs to grow up and accept her power. To borrow from Spidey's Uncle Ben, With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility. Will has the power, now she needs to learn to control and use it instead of being so afraid. She should face her demons and stop being a wuss.

See the difference?

Am I asking too much to expect thought-out and mature responses? I put thought into my posts, I expect the same.

What do I get?

Posts that are about as mature as a 13-year-old with a crush and less thought-out.

Posts like she's still bad

Faith has definatly changed. Remember the scene with the 'hooker' in which Wes handles the knife so well.

She was the one complaining about him being too harsh, now off course he changed aswell, but would the old Faith have said that?
