Faith's Last Name Revealed!

They did, but it is that problem about her not having a last name. Or, Kendra telling Buffy her name was only Kendra and she didn't have no other name...
 
Unless Kendra was too young when she was taken from her family to remember her name or maybe her Watcher never even told her.

She most likely has a last name, it's just that she doesn't use it and or know it.

It's odd to learn that now, I had already stuck the surname "Winter" in my head, because of the 62 on her shirt, the letters & the "buffy opposite theory".
But anyway, it's good to know, though I'm not sure it changes a lot of thing. Thanky for the news !
 
Wow... that's different.

I was always expecting Faith to always just be "Faith". But now she is Faith Lehane? Crazy.

I think the name is just fine, it's just weird to have her last name revealed.

I think Winters would have been neat. As being the opposite of Summers. That's cool.
 
I was stunned. I saw it on IMDB yesterday and didnt know where it came from. Its strange. havent really got used to it yet, but io kinda like it.
 
I like it! Now all we need is a middle name and we'd have the whole set. 😀

Faith was from Boston? Is that right? Irish capital, USA. Eliza's actually Bulgarian or Romanian or something, right? Can't remember what she's said.

Wow!!! It's great to know Faith has a surname :smile2: . Anyway, Lehane in Spanish sounds like "lejane", which sounds like "lejano", which means "far away" lol.
 
ok, i don't know if this has already been mentioned here, or on another thread on the forum, so please forgive me if it has!
around the same time that faith was given her surname, kendra was also given hers.

i know that in the show, kendra said that she had no lat name, but she must have had one at some point, and her watcher took if from her, maybe to make her feel as if she wasn't part of the world, which is what a slayer is supposed to think anyway.
so, there it is...kendra young.

I don't know. You may very well be correct, but personally I'm going to need something more than a message from someone who can't spell "Whedon" correctly (see the quote above) before I take this Kendra thing as canon.

Joss himself posted the surname of Faith. Can you find me something like that?
 
sorry N4H, i got this from the titan buffy mag, which i belive they got from the people who make the official buffy RPG. they requested last names for both slayers, and these are the names joss gave.
faith's was correct, so i have no reason to doubt that they would get kendra's wrong.
sorry if this isn't what you were looking for, but i don't have a link.
 
Is the Watcher Sourcebook out yet?

When I go to the Restless reference site I get this on Faith -

Faith's surname was never mentioned onscreen but the Watcher Sourcebook claims it is Lehane.

Am I correct in thinking it was the people from the Watcher Sourcebook who originally requested the last names of Kendra and Faith from Joss?
 
is this the rule book for the RPG? i don't play, but if it is, then yes, they asked for the names of faith and kendra.
