Bastard Executioner...I only watched the first episode so far, but I liked it. Stephen Moyer is good in it (he is actually a good actor despite True Blood - that role was just terrible). The only weird thing is that the main character looks like a porn star lol. Like for real.

I really liked 'bad' Vampire Bill, and yes, Moyet is really good in it. He plays the part well.. and I agree that the character does look like a porn star. You (pardon the pun) nailed it. I was thinking like a Fabio reject, but yes, you have clearly watched more porn than I. The second episode was not bad either. But of course, people are hating on it.
 
Scorpion is back and just as great as the last season. Even my wife likes it and she prefers murder mysteries over anything else.
 
Anyone seen any of the new shows and already given up on them, I haven't tried any yet, so gaining opinions on which ones are the best to try. Also looking forward to Jessica Jones coming out on Netflix next month.

I gave up on Fear the Walking Dead. It's a neat concept and adding some good info to the time line of everything we know so far from TWD buts it's slow. I wish they would have just incorporated flashbacks from around the country somehow to give us this info rather that this spin-off. The coloring and blurriness of the picture at times was annoying. I think I got 4 or 5 episodes in before giving up.

There were only 6 episodes in the season.. I wouldnt say you gave up, just that you stopped watching! You were almost done with it and you quit.

You thought it was too slow? I thought it was way too fast. That's what turned me off; it wasn't slow enough.
 
Yeah, I suppose I did quit rather that give up. I don't have any desire to finish it.

Maybe it's because the genre/zombie world itself is what I'm getting bored with, so the show felt slow me. I just couldn't get myself to care about the characters so it seems to drag by.

Honestly, if it wasn't programmed into recording itself I wouldn't have watched as many episodes as I did. (Same with TWD, I haven't really missed it but there are new episodes waiting to be watched)

I've beenw atching You, Me and the Apocalypse. Much better than I thought it would be. I wonder if it has links with Parks and Rec given some of the cast.

I've already decided i'm not leaving the house. Walking Dead, Flash, Arrow, waiting for Legends of Tomorrow. When does Gotham and SHIELD start in the UK?

Supergirl i'll wait and see, not overly convinced. Strangely loving Scream Queens and American Horror Story. So glad Criminal Minds is back. I may also be secretly happy Geordie Shore is back.

TWD hasn't been good since season 2. If it wasn't on my DVR I probably wouldn't watch it anymore either. What they should have done is have FTWD be the story of how that young girl gets to Alexandria, starting in LA and coming across country. Now THAT would have been interesting. Initially I was more interested in these characters than the ones on the original, but these characters aren't likeable. At all. And they royally screwed up TWD. It needs to end, but they won't because so many people still watch it.


I like the Bastard Executioner, The Last Kingdom and Limitless (which I didn't think I would). Scream Queens is okay, but it's a little too campy for me with some of the characters (like Chad - if he and the others were played more seriously I think it would be better).

For whatever reason the nepotism in Bastard Executioner turned me off. I have seen I think two episodes and thats it. For me, seeing Katey Sagal takes me out of it. But I am odd.
 
I like the fact that it is campy, it isn't trying to be something it is not.

I need to see Bastard Executioner. Having Sutter withdrawl.

Since you recommend it I've started to watch it. It's not bad, much of it seems like it's all been done before, but I do like the lead. He reminds of a mix between Chris Pratt and Matt Barr. I think that's the only reason I have thus far stuck around.
 
I have really been enjoying The Flash so far. I did not like the first two eps I saw of AHS:Hotel. Even though Scream Queens is campy I found it enjoyable, haven't seen the latest episode though. I still need to get caught up on Empire. Finally got caught up with Once Upon A Time last night.
 
I love watching The Flash and Arrow and I've just watched the first episode of Legends of Tomorrow. I can honestly say that I loved the opening episode and if it continues to be that good it might become my favourite show. I tried getting into Supergirl but for some reason I couldn't.

I watch Bones and Castle but both shows are becoming quite difficult to watch, especially Castle.

I really enjoy watching SHIELD.
