So it's that time again, our favorite shows will be returning shortly and a new batch is set to premier! What shows are you excited to see return and what new shows are you planning on watching?

The only two new shows I'm planning on watching are The Mindy Project and Partners, both comedies. 😀 As far as returning shows go, I'm looking forward to Revenge and The Walking Dead.

I get kind stuck in certain shows and tend to close out everything else. Besides football taking up my DVR, I'm hoping to catch Dexter and The Walking Dead. I'm still trying to figure out how to go back and catch up on Supernatural, Mad Men, and True Blood.

Dr Who is back on tonight 😀 And I have the XFactor to watch. Merlin is back on the 29th of this month wooo those make me happy 😀
 
Well I normally watch quite a bit of T.V., but I haven't since moving. Between school, unpacking and just a ton of little things, there hasn't been a ton of time. I'm still figuring out my new cable and DVR package (that's the only way to go for T.V. for me), but I usually watch Modern Family (ABC), Hawaii Five-O (CBS), Covert Affairs (USA), and Person of Interest (CBS). I'd like to keep up with those four if I can, particularly POI, I really dig that show.

From the new ones that were listed, I think that Vegas and Revolution look pretty cool. I love Las Vegas history and mob shows and movies, so they seem to go hand-in-hand on this one. Dennis Quaid on T.V. is new too.

It seems like every year there is some giant new blockbuster series coming out that gets a ton of hype. This year Revolution fits the bill. They're usually a lot of fun to tune into, even if the success rate isn't great (Terra Nova and Alcatraz were bombs. Stretching back a bit, but LOST was pure gold), so I'll check it out. I also like to pay attention to whatever new project HBO has going. They quality of their programming is generally off-the-charts good (Band of Brothers, The Pacific, The Wire, Luck, the first season of Boardwalk Empire...).

I'm lazy about TV, I don't follow a lot of shows and I'm not gonna start watching any new ones now.. the only shows I want more of right now are Shameless US and Happy Endings, really can't wait.
 
I think only new show I'm going watch this year is : Nashville.

I'm going to try to watch Arrow and I'll possibly get sucked into 666 Park Avenue. Also, whenever The Carrie Diaries starts I'll probably wind up watching some of that, but I doubt I'll get too into it. My problem is I hate commercials and waiting in between episodes, which is uaully why I wait for them to release on DVD before watching. 😉
 
The upcoming season has a few good shows, I think it's shaping up better then last years, I usually watch the pilot for most things.

I've seen the pilot for The New Normal, I enjoyed that, pretty funny.
 
Ooh, I'm so excited for this month! So much going on, TV-wise!

There's Arrow coming out, which absolutely looks over the top awesome. Gosh, I'm a sucker for all things superheroes.
Then there is also Elementary. I am a giant Lucy Liu fan!
As for comedies, The Mindy Project looks pretty funny and Guys with Kids, well, I've gotta check that out because Jimmy Fallon produced it 😉
I might give Revolution a try as well.

Returning shows I'm looking forward to are: HIMYM, Parks and Rec and Once Upon a Time.
 
I'm already watching Leverage, Warehouse 13, and Grimm, all of which started early. I'll definitely be adding Castle and Once Upon a Time when they start. Arrow and 666 Park Avenue are the only new shows I'm considering looking at. Lost Girl is just about to wrap up its second season on Syfy. The next season DVD's for How I Met Your Mother and Supernatural are due out soon (I'm a season behind on both shows). And the new seasons of Game of Thrones and Downton Abbey will be on early next year.
 
I really don't watch many shows, so my list is really short. For new shows, I might give "Partners" and "The New Normal" a try. They look funny.

Checked out The New Normal, I liked it, pretty funny a bit to soppy but funny overall.
 
I'll be watching Glee, Modern Family and The Middle when they return. In the UK Red Dwarf will be returning on October 4th so I'll be watching that for definite. It's my favourite UK series. There's also talk of a new Bottom series too which I love so I'll be watching that if it comes about.
 
The only things I absolutely must watch from the upcoming seasons are Suits and Game of Thrones. Sadly Suits starts in January and GoT starts in March so there isn't technically anything for me in the fall schedule. There's a whole ton of stuff I'll just wait to get on DVD, though.
 
Nobody mentioned David Greenwalt's Grimm yet? The second season is fantastic. It is the only fantasy show on tv right now that is as much fun to watch as Buffy/Angel's earlier seasons. The werewolf character alone is worth watching for - that guy is amazing.
