Just askin'... anyone out there have any vampire stories in your local legends?

My family is from Scotland, and there is Glames Castle -- purportedly the most haunted place in Britain. The castle has numerous secret rooms, and supposedly a 'real' vampire was bricked up in its walls a looong time ago.

There's more to tell, but you folk must share your tales first... 😉

Elizabeth Bathory was always my fave story and there was even a hammer horror movie made based on the countess....

She would bath in the blood of village and servant girls alike, it took the surrounding towns quite a while to discover that the countess was doing this and it eventually drove her crazy... the more blood she bathed in, the more youthful she believed she'd become....

Forget Oil Of Olay, just go for the vein 🙂 well at least in Elizabeth Bathorys case... 😀

I think I saw an episode of Scariest Places on Earth about that 😉

Vlad Tepes is always a good one 🙂 I once wrote this paper about vampire myths across cultures...
