Fan-Made LOTR Short: The Hunt For Gollum

Those few LOTR fans here on BB may already know about this, but I just came across it today and felt it was worth sharing.

But please don't be daunted by the term "fan made" for this particular piece. Take my word for it, it is gorgeously constructed and a pleasure to watch. It looks damn-near professional.

The story is a prequel to The Lord Of The Rings, set in Middle Earth which depicts events leading up to the Fellowship of the Ring. The story follows the Heir of Isildur; the "greatest huntsman and traveller in Middle Earth" as he sets out to find the creature Gollum. The creature must be found to discover the truth about the Ring, and to protect the future Ringbearer.

WOW!!! Absolutely phenomenal! Loved everything about it! (Save the Arwen scene...that was a little cheesy) But it was extremely well done! The make up, camera angles, fight scenes, special effects, costumes...and that vertigo shot was priceless! Thank you for sharing OM!
