Hi, I'm a newbie here, so be gentle please. 🙂

My Family and I are going to a fancy dress party on New Years Eve and wish to dress up as Vampires from Buffy.

Does anyone know where we can buy the proper latex forehead wrinkly things that the vamps in Buffy have?

We live in the North of England and hopefully somebody has seen these make-up items on sale somewhere local to us.

Any tips how to dress the part would also be greatly appreciated.

We will also be taking our 2 young uns, aged 3 and 21 months old which should be a laugh.

Well the things they use on the set of Buffy takes three hours to apply, plus some time to make the mask itself, no I don't think any ordinary shop sell 'em, you should go for the fangs ... as for clothing ... according to the Buffyverse vamps dress no different from other people, just a little old-fashioned from time to time, that's all!

I found this website last night but it is American and I wanted to find a store that is more local.
Reading the excerpt below it seems that these face pieces are official merchandise.
I'll grab some pictures from the site.

Official Buffy the Vampire Slayer latex appliance. This appliance is the professional foam latex version.
The professional foam latex version is highly recommended for the best look & ease of application.

Requires Spirit Gum or similar adhesive and remover.

Other suggested items such as Castor Sealer (to seal the appliance for easy make-up application), Flesh Latex (to help blend edges into skin, and Colorless Powder (to set the make-up) are in our Make-Up department.

Usually ships out within 1 week

I've seen them on sale in Blackpool at a Voyager Convention, so I know someone sells them in the UK.

Anybody know?

Unfortunately I don't, but it's good to know that they do actually sell them - good luck finding it!

I hope you have a great party! Your costume should be great! Clothes-wise, I'd suggest dressing like Angel does in 'Lie to me' in season 2 when he comments on how the "vampire groupies" have no idea how vampires dress (then one walks along in his outfit). Basically a satin red shirt, black trousers and jacket! Or just go for dark & brooding! Or you could go completely dated, you have loads of options really! A lady could go as vamp-Willow! 😀

Thanks for the reply.
I haven't had any luck yet. So the Party will have to be without a vampire, this time.

When I find them, I'll buy them ready for the next party, whenever that may be.
