OK, so BtVS has definitely had some fashion fails (Willow I'm looking at YOU 😛 )

My question is, what did you wear when you were younger that really makes you cringe now? We all have some mistakes!

I remember having a bit of a "gothic" phase when I was about 12 (GRR, ANGST!) and wearing a top with fishnet arms...that wasn't so pretty.

When I was about 15 I had some red high heels that were basically just hooker shoes, I thought they looked gorgeous, but they probably just made me look like a skank.

I had a punk style going on all through high school.

Blue hair. Bondage pants. Fishnet. Leather Jacket.

Though the only thing I probably regret is JNCO jeans. I didn't pull those off as well as the bondage pants. Haha.

Was totally fun though. Not gonna lie.

My style in high school changed every day. I basically dressed how I "felt" that morning. Some days I was a rocker chick, others I was a country girl, and others I was a prep or a skater. LOL My biggest fail though I would have to say was an ankle length camo dress... Those of you who remember fashion in the 90s would have loved it; it was one of those long black polyester dresses that looked like a super long tank top and then the camo part was a mesh dress that went over it. And I rocked that shit with combat boots. LMFAO

Omg I think I had the same dress! except the underdress on mine was olive green. How gross, way to dredge up painful memories. Lol.
Oh man.....I was totally a tom boy. I look at high school pictures now and I'm amazed at the baggy pants and boy shirts! Haha! Guess I did hang out with boys a lot..... but I'm glad to say I'm not as shy these days!😛😉
 
I actually really love that top Willowwears, not sure if I'd ever wear it myself though.

The only time I've ever had a fashion disaster so to speak is when I didn't care about what I wore and just wore tracksuit bottoms and a hoody. I was mostly friends with boys so I kind of turned into one for a bit.

I went through an electro phase (tutu, bright coloured tights and bright eyeshadow), emo (lots of eyeliner and graphic art t-shirts) and will always be vaguely punky with my DM boots, but I loved each style and I'd wear it again if I could be bothered. To some it may have looked awful but I was happy wearing it.
 
I was affected by the 80's, even when it was the 90's. My clothes had nothing to do with each other, they were long t-shirts and tight pants. And I always had a ponytail, a very long one. All that and still people called my a Barbie, don't know why. I guess it was because of my long blond hair.
 
I had bangs worse than Buffys in Amends up until I was 13. *shudders at the memory*
 
Looking back at photos I realize how ridiculous the flannel lumberjack type shirts I wore pretty much exclusively for years look for a guy living in a city
 
I was very into leather there for a while in high school. Leather pants, leather skirts, leather jacket... *sighs* I've only kept the jacket 🙂
 
I was born in the 80s and went to high school in the 90s...I experienced pretty much every "on-trend" fashion tragedy there was. Leggings, scrunch socks, and keds with crimped hair in the 80s (heck yes elementary school). Way too baggy pants, tight babydoll shirts, platform looking vans skate shoes (in blue suede, btw) in middle school. Freshman and Sophomore year, I might as well have been a Buffy stunt double. Junior and Senior year I'm pretty sure I looked exactly like the girls in that Jennifer Love Hewitt movie "can't hardly wait"...I was a fan of the mini-skirts, tank tops, and oh god the terrible shoes that we thought were "so cute." It was all very tragic looking back on it, but hey, it was in style...right?
 
I tried dying my hair blonde at 12 and turned my hair orange that was pretty horrible.

I also wore pajama bottoms to school from like 12 - 14 lol it was like my little pony pajama bottoms and julius monkey tshirts was all I wore in seventh grade.

Then in tenth grade all the shirts I wore were two sizes too small and cut way too low.
