This thread is basically to see who had your favorite Father-Daughter relationship? Giles-Buffy or Mayor-Faith, both Buffy and Faith havent had that good of father figures in their life and Giles and Mayor Willkens both look at them as their daughters so who do you like best?

Giles has been like a father to buffy since like the 2nd season up through the 6th, The Mayor was like a father to Faith in the 3rd season-4th season and 7th season of BUffy.
 
I think that it would have to be Giles and Buffy. cos like you said Giles has been a like a father to Buddy form a bout the 2nd season onwards (except for mabye season 7)
 
My fav was Giles and Buffy. I liked Faith and The Mayor you could tell that he really cared for her in an evil kind of way..
 
Giles/Buffy, definitely. I loved the end of Helpless, so sweet. I liked Faith/The Mayor too, but Giles/Buffy were my fav father-daughter relationship.
 
They were all good, but the incestous fling Angelus and Dru had was the best.

I think Angel and Faith had great chemistry too, but I dunno, can their relation be typed as father/daughter?
 
I guess, but that's only because they look the same age. I think they're more mentor and student. But so are M/F and G/B.
 
Had to go with Giles/Buffy...it was a hard choice though because I really loved the Mayor and Faith...it was a bit twisted but kind of...I don't know...sweet.
 
I loved the Mayor and Faith. It's like Giles and Buffy if they gave into their dark side.
 
Hands down Giles and Buffy. Their relationship is easily one of my favorite things about the show.

I agree. The father/daughter relationship between Buffy and Giles was one of my favourite things about the show.
 
The Mayor and Faith, definitly!!!
It was just soo... well, I'm a Faith's fan, & there is so much to tell about their relation, I just liked it !!!
 
The Mayor and Faith's relationship was good, but like Chasity said, it was twisted...they were evil. And even though they did care for each other Giles and Buffy's relationship was stronger. So I voted Giles/Buffy.
 
Giles and Buffy. I just love their relationship! It's one of my favorite things in the show... 🙂
