If you had to pick 4 episodes from season 3, which ones would you pick and why? Which was your least favourite. Forgive me if this was done already.

My favourite ones are:

- Bad Girls - we get to see a completely different side to the buffster
- Consequences - showed the depth of Faith's character
- Graduation Day part one - simply because of the epic battle at the end
- Anne - i just love how cutely she says "I'm Buffy, the vampire slayer...And you are?" and then snaps his arm. haha

Least favourite:

- Beauty and the Beasts - that silly girl was annoying me ... "he does love me...he does love me...he does love me"...um...clearly not

Choices ~ Seeing Willow stand up to Faith is my favourite part of the season!
Earshot ~ Brilliantly done!! Love it!!
Lovers Walk ~ Xander and Willow, the ship that should have been 😛
Graduation Day pt.2 ~ Amazing final episode!! Love that the entire school comes together to fight, plus the fact Angel leaves is also a bonus (sw)

Darn I forgot Choices. I'm gonna edit mine :p

LOL. I take it you're not a big Angel fan.

Ignore Flanny Face....I really don't like Angel!! I hate the man!! :P And don't even get me started on Bangel!! :P
I LOVE the season 3, it is completely tied with 2 as being my favourite! But I'll try 😛

Enemies - Just love it! Thinking Angelus is back and then seeing the smug look wiped of Faith's face!
Graduation 1&2 - I'm gonna take it as one. One of my favourite finales and a real turning point in the whole series.
Choices - this was originally Earshot but Aly bought me to my senses.
Bad Girls - I think I have to go with this one too. I love seeing Buffy feeling all 'bad girl' - funny that1 😛

Regarding Beauty and Beasts: I see why you might feel like that, but I do like the episode. And unfortunately, its quite an accurate depiction of what happens with domestic violence.

What would you do without me :P
Anne- First time I realized Buffy can really kick ass...plus she was so dark...and I love Dark buffy!

Zeppo- Xander got his ep and it was awesome! Armageddon was upon the scoobies and Xander got to save the day in his own special xander way!

Dopplegangland- fairly evident why thats on the list, its epicly awesome. Great acting from Aly plus some real insights into the future of her character.

Wish- Well it introduces Dopplegangland, and its a great ep. Had me scared, and laughing at the same time in places. Plus seeing uber Slayer Buffy was cool (I also like how she got beat down by the master...it showed basiclly that a more relaxed/jovial Buffy makes a better fighter than a honed merciless one).

Least:
Not sure- Dead mans party perhaps?

Oh oh, looks like you're a Faith fan, Glorylicious. (sw)

Mine are...
-Consequences. Love the scene at the dock and when Angel talked to gagged Faith. But I SO hate Wesley because he interrupted them helping Faith.
-Bad Girls. Fuffyness before things went downhills 🙁
-Doppelgangland. It's epic and I can watch this episode with friends without them confusing about the thing happenned before. I mean, it's like a good short movie.
-Graduation. Love the Faith-Buffy dream, ok kidding. I love the smart plan to kill The Mayor and the Oz's quote about hischool surviving. And of course the Faith-Buffy fight scene.

Least Favorite : Dead Man's Party. It's boring and I can't believe Buffy wanted to leave again. Also, pink didn't look good on her. 😛

Graduation Day, part 2: It was just a perfect way to end Buffy's high school years. The scene where Angel bites Buffy was great, as was the scene with all of the students forming the army against the Mayor and his little vamp army, but the highlight of the episode was definitely pre-snake Mayor. He was just SO unnerving...I legit got chills when he tried to suffocate Buffy in her hospital bed with that creepy music in the background. The only real downside was how cheesy-looking the Mayor Snake was, but I guess that's lowish-budget '90s special effects for 'ya.

Doppelgangland: Next to Intervention, this one's probably the funniest episode of the series.

Lovers Walk: Evil Spike never fails to bring the laughs. Just a great episode overall. Plus, it gave us a better idea of Spike's capacity for love, which would play an important role in the later seasons.

Earshot: A really great episode with a perfect blend of humor and drama. Buffy's speech to Jonathan was great, and the scene with Xander and the Jell-O was hilarious. Oh, and I had to laugh at how oblivious most of the students were to Buffy leaping onto the roof.

The Prom: It was a really good episode, if not a little melodramatic at times (but hey, aren't all Bangel-centric episodes that way?). The interactions between Xander and Cordelia and Wesley and Giles and Buffy getting the Class Protector award were definite highlights. Also, I nearly cried when Angel showed up to dance with Buffy...hey, just because I'm Spuffy doesn't mean I can't like Bangel at times!

Honorable Mentions:

The Wish: Oh, come on...do I even need to explain? Who doesn't love some Vamp Willow and Badass Buffy? Plus, the scene at the end with all of the main characters dying was, well, creepy.

Consequences: I'll admit, I hated this episode the first time I watched it, but the more I rewatch, the more I love it. It gave us a really in-depth look at Faith's character. And not gonna lie, I don't care how horribly twisted it was...I was kinda sorta really turned on by the Faith/Xander scene.

Anne: Like Consequences, I hated this one at first but grew to love it after more viewings. I love Buffy when she's all dark and broody.

Least Favorite:

Dead Man's Party: The way the Scoobies treat Buffy in this one pisses me off so much, and it certainly doesn't help that the episode is boring as hell.

Silum
I didnt get much hotter for Xander, Anya was a dissappointment anyway
Skanky Vamp
Skanky Vamp
you are such a dork! the mask on Mr. Depp.. good stuff indeed
Fav four? hmm . . .

Doppelgangland for sure. I just enjoy real Willow trying to be all evil. It's cute. 🙂

Band Candy. I actually may go watch this one . . . like right now . . . I haven't seen it in quite a while and Snyder, Giles, and Joyce are just amusing.

The Zeppo. I like Xander. I named my cat after him.

And Graduation Day pt. 2. Epic battle. Lots of explosives. Some drama. What's not to love?

Least fav?

I think I'm gonna go with Gingerbread. All this ep does is make me dislike Joyce. And I don't want to dislike Joyce. I rebel! So . . . I don't like it. . .

THE WISH: perfect. Got to see vamp Willow and Xman and Cordy dies. How could i ask for more.
LOVERS WALK: well, its funny and its the return of the king aka Spike.
REVELATIONS: to me its the best Faith ep of s3 and loved the drama of everyone finding out Angel is back.
HELPLESS: just a great episode. Kralik is one of my best one off bad guys ever.
My worst episode would be beauty and the beasts

Choices: Like Aly I loved seeing Willow stand up to Faith. That is a little piece of what I like to think of as the real Willow. She had stood up to other people like Giles and Angel in the season 2 episode Reptile Boy, but the fact that Faith was threatening to kill her made it even better.

Doppelgangland: First of all there is sexy vampire Willow in that episode (drools). Then there is the cuteness factor of Willow trying to act evil. Lastly, I'm pretty sure this is the first episode where there is any mention that Willow could be a lesbian. Granted it was Vampire Willow that they where talking about but still.

Band Candy. SO FUNNY! Buffy telling her mom "Don't EVER tell me" after she gave her handcuffs to tie up Ethan Rayne. Priceless. Even Principle Synder was funny in that episode! Just a great episode over all.

The Zeppo: I liked this episode because it was funny and it was one of the few eps that really didn't focus on Buffy to much. It was all about Xander and his "very strange night." Really if it wasn't for him Buffy and the rest of the gang would have been killed by the bomb. Great episode!

Lol, 4 is a weird number for this...

Well, mine are:
-The Wish: Come on, this whole alternative universe stuff, you just gotta love it
-Graduation Day pt1: It had the awesomest fighting scene ever
-Homecoming: Very funny episode, plus very Cordy, I like 🙂
-Band Candy: This one was beyond funny

Earshot, The Prom, Graduation Day 1&2, Doppelgangland, Enemies, Band Candy, and Lovers Walk were my favorites.

The only two I actually disliked were Gingerbread and The Zeppo. Gingerbread because I hate Joyce, and The Zeppo because it's snooze-worthy.

My favorites:
- The Wish: Amazing episode, I loved the whole concept. Plus, first appearance of Anya.

- Doppelgangland: Alyson Hannigan is amazing in this episode. She has to play four characters; Willow, Vamp Willow, Willow as Vamp Willow, and Vamp Willow as Willow, and I think she does an amazing job. I loved her lines: "Hey, you didn't happen to do a bunch of drugs, did ya?"

- Choices: I love Willow, so I love this episode.

- Earshot: 😀 It's funny

- Graduation Day Pts. 1 and 2: Faith and Buffy fight scene, blowing up the school, and "Well, Gosh!".

- The Prom: I loved how Buffy got Class Protector award.

The Zeppo because it's snooze-worthy.

I didn't like The Zeppo at first either, but the more I watch it, the more I can appreciate it. It reminds me of why I love the show...it's very comfortable with making fun of itself. There's a huge apocalypse and tons of melodrama, but the main plot is about Xander's donut run. Just a brilliant concept, and it's very well executed...it's just that it's not everyone's "thing." In fact, it's not really my thing, either...while I do consider it one of the better episodes of the series, I wouldn't consider it one of my favorites.

Favourites would be doppellgangland, bad girls, enemies, and the wish all willow and faith heavy which i just loved in season 3 the whole bad faith sucking buffy into her world is always great everytime i watch it, as for the other two i cant get enough of bad ass vamp willow, classic.

Worst, not a fan of anne, dead mans party and sadly the zeppo, i love xander but other than faith stealing his virginity and cordys classic put downs theres not much attracting me to that episode.

See, my problem with The Zeppo is that its a season and a half too late.
By this point, Xander has already proven himself numerous times, so he didn't need the realisation then, he should have had it before he gets together with Cordelia.

It might be a season and a half too late for the audience, but just because we saw him prove himself, doesn't mean that Xander felt he had. In fact he obviously didn't, as it took him this to come to that realisation.

I've been trying to think what my least favourite episode/s of this season are, but I just can't think of any that spring to mind. I do agree with people's feelings towards Dead Man's Party and the way that the Scoobies treat Buffy, but then I see both sides of it too...meh I'll just sit on my biased fence for now!

Yeah, it should have been filmed a lot earlier.

Yeah, that is a rubbish response to it.

If we, the viewer, who too have asked these questions BUT then see him consistently show everyone what he has to offer, then a year and a half later the character asks that question, its out of place.

Xander should have asked this question when it was an issue.
I would suggest the time of Bad Eggs.

He's just spent the year helping Buffy, even saved her life, but what does he add to the group?
Willow, well shes the book smart girl who helps Giles with the research.
Buffy, she's the Slayer, the one that fights the monsters.
Giles is the one training Buffy and helping Willow.
What is Xanders function?
We know he is important, and integral. to the team but he doesn't.

By The Zeppo, he's saved Buffy, fought numerous demons, helped take over Buffy's duties, bagged the popular girl in school, cheated on her with his best friend and even started to wear less hideous (but still yuck) clothes - so yeah, this is the wrong point to be asking those questions...considering that within a year he's gonna be asking these very same questions again BUT in the bigger story line - and the problem there is that Joss has told us often how far ahead he plans seasons, so he must have known by 'The Zeppo' the overarching story of season 4, so why do it then.

This is another example of how in the earlier seasons Joss and co didn't really know how to use certain characters.
Cordelia should never have been a main character for the first three seasons, she was like Lorne in seasons 4 and 5 of Angel.

Xander too - because they made so much effort in making him the normal guy, his storylines sometimes waned abit, until season 4 when he began to get in his stride.
