The Matrix called ... The X-Men called... The Marvel Extended Universe Called... The Downtown Fetish Shop called... The Terminator 3 called. They are all asking for Gwen Raiden.

If I had to pick, I'd say Buffy & Willow...er Buffillow as I sometimes like to call that particular 'ship'. 😛
 
Come on, the real ship that shoulda, woulda, coulda was Cluffy. That's right, Clem and Buffy. They had mutual respect, Clem babysat Dawn, Clem has a sense of humour that showed up when she took the potentials to the demon bar. Best of all, there was no friction between them at all, just good times and pleasant encounters.

You could also see Buffy feeling guilty for sleeping with Clem because he's a demon, then feeling guilty that she feels guilty because he's such a nice guy. She'd also worry that Spike would find out and then tell the other scoobies. I would've preferred Cluffy to Spuffy.

Mainly because all the male characters (except Giles) were either badly written, not nice people.....or Vampires!
 
Giles/Ethan is totally canon, sadly. 😛

Willow/Fred would be fun
Giles/Anya

But obviously the best one is Gluffy. 😉

Willow/Fred should've been the relationship that happened after Tara's death. The audience had gotten to know Fred over the preceding seasons, she and Willow were sweet together and had similar interests, she had a personality that was in line with Oz and Tara's, all in all it would've made sense for Willow to begin a relationship with Fred.

Buffy/Tara (Tuffy?) would make a great friendship, don't really see it long term romancewise but definitely a good platonic ship.
 
Ninoz. Yup, Nina and Oz can have a regular cage match every month if they want. Oz could teach her how to control the werewolf in her and Nina could be a substantial upgrade from Veruca.

Also double points for Gwen/Angel a ship I fully support. They were hot together in Ground State. He kisses Gwen and then he's like oh crap forgot about Cordy muahahahahah.
 
Connor/Dawn. I've just always liked the idea of the two impossible kids ending up together.

Gunn/Anne. I really wish we'd seen more of their friendship, and if he wanted to spend what he thought would be his last day helping her at the shelter, then I think there's potential for something more.

I would've been happy if Buffy/Ben (the one who asked her out in "I Only Have Eyes For You," not the one from S5) had happened instead of Buffy/Scott in early S3. Just from that one scene, Ben was already more interesting than Scott ever became.

Buffy/Wood would probably be my first alternate to Buffy/Angel if I didn't already like Faith/Wood so much.

Faith/Spike and Faith/Gunn are both good alternatives to Faith/Wood in my book.

Giles/Adelle Dewitt. I don't even care that this would be an impossible crossover. That ship would be amazing. I'm sure I would've shipped Giles with whatever character Olivia Williams played, had she ever played a Buffyverse character. Preferably, that character would either be a Watcher or one of the witches in the big coven in England.
 
Connor/Dawn.

I pretty much avoid non-canon 'ships nearly universally, but... I just can't help wanting this one. I want more Connor in the comics, dammit! Dark Horse sucks.
