Fave ep of season 5

[Solitary Singer]

I'm going through my season 5 DVD and I'd have to say The Body, a lot have people have mentioned this and for a good reason. Whilst extremely depressing it is so moving, very well acted and something a lot of people can relate to (well, except maybe for the vampire in the hospital, lol). I'm listening to the Joss Whedon commentary at the moment...very interesting.

I couldn't vote for just one ep because I have a lot of eps that I like from Season 5. Here are the ones that I seem to watch a lot:

Crush
I was made to love you
Forever
The weight of the world
The gift

Without a doubt it has to be 'The Body', such a poignant episode, for so many reasons - just brilliant, and never fails to make me cry.

Another Season 5 episode I liked was Family!!!
It was very key around Tara!!! Which was good!!!

I voted for "Crush".I know the ending was a mess but I't's got my favourite scene ever!Buffy and Spike staking out the vampire's *nest*,more specifically when he says "You're saying they're poofters??"......::rolf:: ....Always cracks me up!!Yes I'm a bit strange.....🙂

I think my fav is 'The Body' for most of the same reasons everyone has given already.
I also really like 'Family'. Tara finally feels accepted as one of the scoobies.

I choose Forever..I bum this episode...as Angel's in it....my second is The Gift..it was so sad...I think this was the first Buffy I cried at cause my mum was downstairs with me watching it n she looked at me n my eyes were all like teary and she goes its only a programme ya know( she said it as she always fliiping cryin at stupid deaths n I take the mic out of her) and I was like shut up...🙁

"The Gift" is almost my favourite Buffy episode ever, let alone just for Season 5. I just love it. I love the interaction between Spike and Buffy, Willow and Buffy, Xander and Anya -- well, I'm sure you're getting the picture. It's a beautiful episode with wonderfully evocative music in the climactic scene and even though Buffy dies at the end, you just know that she died with no regrets -- with the conviction that she had done her job and done it well. Brilliant ep!!

yes it is... i agree... "the gift" is a great episode... i cried at the end... the music made me cry even more

The Gift was such a great finale, Buffy leaping off the tower and saving the world was just beautiful, and like someone else said great music, and all the scoobies helped out, it was just one of the best finale's ever. I also love the Body because its the only epi thats made me start crying about 4 different times in the same hour show.

other faves: No Place Like Home, adored that Buffy trance sequence, and when she first met Glory, then the end where we found out about Dawn, also loved Family, Checkpoint (she stands up to the council🙂 Fool for Love and Spiral
