I have to say i really like Joyce i think mums should be more like her. My fave Joyce scene is in Hope Faith and Trick when Buffy gets let back in school and she tactfully rubs Snyders face in it and Joyce goes "i think what my daughter is trying to say is na na na na"
 
Mine is when Spike and Joyce are sitting in the living room in Becoming Part 2:
Joyce - Have we met?
Spike - Yea, you hit me with an axe once, remember? "Get the hell away from my daughter"..
Joyce - Oh, right.. so, do you live here in town?
 
mine is when at the end of surprise or innocence
when joyce and buffy are sitting in the couch doing the birthday candle thing, and when buffy doesnt blow it out joyce doesnt question it she just accepts it and comforts buffy rather than confronting her cause shes beinga good mom

thats my fave joyce moment
its just a really sweet, poignant moment

I also like this Joyce moment!!!
 
I liked the arguement between Joyce and Buffy in "Becoming pt.2". Ok, I don't like the fact that Buffy and Joyce fight but the acting was very well done for both actresses.
 
My favorite Joyce moment, because I find it to be just hilarious, is at the end of Restless:
Joyce: I'm, uh, guessing I missed some fun?
Willow: The spirit of the first Slayer tried to kill us in our dreams.
Joyce: Oh, you want some hot chocolate?

The Spike and Joyce moments are my favourite and always put a smile on my face. Especially when Joyce makes Spike a hot chocolate and he asks for the small marshmellows. 🙂
 
I love all the moments posted so far. Joyce and Spike were always brilliant sharing a scene.

I also liked in the Hansel & Gretel episode (sorry, I forget the name) when Joyce decides to take an interest in Buffy's work, and follows her with sandwiches 😀.
 
I liked in Faith Hope And Trick where Joyce realizes Bufy must have died at some point for Kendra & Faith to be called. I think it went:

Joyce-When did you die? You never told me you died!
Buffy-It was only for a minute!

LOL.

Oh, and when she called Snyder an evil little bigoted rodent man or something along those lines 🙂
 
i like all the ones that are here, thar so funny! 😀 But to have a fave moment (joyce or anyone else), u need to have willow and tara in there some where::

Willow:: a good Sunnydale rule, avoid white-skinned men in capes
Joyce (to willow and tara):: I'm not like this. I don't invite strange men over for coffee. It's just...when you girls are older you'll understand *sighs*. It's hard to date. Sometimes you just feel like giving up on men altogether.

k maybe that's not the most shining Joyce moment! 😛 oh i miss tara 🙁
 
My fav Joyce moment was when Spike was back in Lovers Walk and Joyce was comforting him! I love that. That scene always makes me laugh. Espcially with spike and his grrrrr teeth. Hey, does anybody have a pic of that? I would love one!
 
God, I started this tinking I knew my fav but after reading all of yours I remembered all those moments. I can't choose! I do tend to like the Joyce/Spike moments a little more though. I miss her too.
 
Joyce in the whole episode of band candy when she was a teenager so funny
