Yeah, it's the same Pippi.
I absolutely love those made for tv movies based on Astrid Lindgrens books. My absolute favorite is Pippi Långstrump. She was my idol for I don't know how long and I still love her. Have bought dvd collections, old LP's with the songs from the movies etc. She's so cool and I think she's a great rolemodel for young girls.
And Trasdockorna also, that Johanna (eponinethen) mentioned. I loved them. They used to show them on this show called 'Björnes Magasin' that was about this bear who lived in a house with his pet snail and horse and he used to show short cartoon bits and stories. One I liked was 'Skymningslandet' and also 'Joelbitar', that's a national classic.

When I lived in Chile I used to watch My little ponies and The Muppets.

God theres loads, Turtles, Power Rangers, Bucky O'Hare etc. Earlier kids, the likes of Postman Pat and such.

Bought a Trap Door t-shirt two weeks ago, what a great bit of nostalgia that was.

She's so cool and I think she's a great rolemodel for young girls..

Pippi is a great role model.. (But the actors who played Tommy and Annika are so bad.) Madicken was always my favourite though, she's a strong girl too (though not physical like Pippi).

Yes! It's that little train going around that little city with that lovely song in the background. "Adjöken adjö..." or however that is spelled... Absolutely wonderful! I used to get so mellow by that song... like anti-depressives or something.

And not forgetting the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon, T-Bag, Simon & The Witch and the cheesy but unmissable Press Gang!

Totally my favorite as a kid!! I also loved She-Ra and He-man (yes I'm totally showing my age), Scooby Doo (not the new ones...the old ones with the psychadelic spiral-like opening), Heathcliffe, Garfield, wow...I'm old 🙁

Since I'm still just a big kid, I'll put in a vote for Pinky and the Brain, and Animaniacs, even though I was an adult watching them with my dwarflets when they were on...and remember, David Fury wrote for both these shows before his Buffy days...

As for when I was a kid...I watched the Monkees, Scooby Doo and Jonny Quest too...all the ORIGINAL series, all in their first-runs...

I also watched Shining Time Station, Wishbone, Barney, Sesame Street, the one where the celebs read to kids and also the puppet one that had the cat and dog Sizzle and Nuzzle.

i never really watche seasame street. Although if i was i kid now i'd love the hell outta Bear in the Big Blue House (In fact i Do love the hell outta it)
