fave moment in s1/2

for me it would have to be, without a doubt, the talent show piece at the end of 'the puppet show' in s1 with xander, willow and buffy. it just makes me crack up every time i see it and xander is just class!

if i could recite it off by heart, i would have written it down here but my memory is about as short-term as Dory's from 'Finding Nemo'!

does anyone know what play it is that they're reciting?
 
my fave moment is in the harvest when buffy tricked the vamp into thinking it was daylight and then stakes him and calls him a moron i love that moment
 
I love when Buffy says, "When I look into the future, all I see is you. All I want is you." and Angel replies, "I know the feeling." Very nice B/A moment, right before all the tragedy and heartbreak. I also love the fights between Buffy and Angelus in "Innocence" and "Becoming P2." Buffy and Spike trying to come up with an excuse to Joyce in "Becoming P2" was priceless and so was the end of "I Robot, You Jane"!
 
For me the best moment was the scene between Giles & Jenny in "The Dark Age" before all the drama with Eyghon started.

Jenny: I'm lying, Rupert. (smiles) The book's fine. (holds it up) I
just love to see you squirm. (hands him the book)

Giles: (smiles in relief) Yes, well, I, uh... trust I gave good...
squirm.

Jenny: Did anyone ever tell you you're kind of a fuddy-duddy?

Giles: Nobody ever seems to tell me anything else.

Jenny: Did anyone ever tell you you're kind of a sexy fuddy-duddy?

Giles: Well, no. Actually that, that part usually gets left out.
(smiles) I c-can't imagine why.

Jenny: This weekend.

Giles: Would you like to go out?

Jenny: Mm, no, I think I'd like to stay in.
 
i like in passion when giles finds jenny in his bed that is soo good
 
So many awesome moments! Jeez...off the top of my head...I love it when Buffy makes that truce with Spike and just the whole sequence in front of her house about the band and then inside when Joyce is all don't I know you...lol...I love scenes with them together...
 
Rock on, Rayne! Spike and Joyce scenes are the best!

I love the moment in Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered where Xander walks into Buffy's room and says something to the effect of "We're safe now." and Angelus pops in, says "Works in theory" and rips him out of the window!
 
I like the rocket launcher!!!!

That whole sequence in the mall. Buffy shooting the Judge with the arrow... "I think I got his attention" and the Judge all saying no weapon forged could stop him.

"That was then, This is now"
BAM.... rocket launcher.
Great!

And the sword fight in Becoming 2 is a very close second.

ooo i loved that scene

and the scene between buffy and her mom when her mom doesnt want do believe shes the slayer and tells her if she walks out the door not to ever come back.
 
My favorite part of S1/S2, is after she stop's Acathla, after Angel is gone, they play that, Sarah Maclaghlan song, OH the tears!!!
 
So, not the best line ever, but I love the scene in Ted when their all playing minniature golf. Ted puts and Joyce, under his "thrall" says: "Ohh, nice shot Ted!"

Have you seen Kristine Sutherland shen she says that, It's hilarious to watch.


Also like the scene in Halloween when Willow goes into the library in her "ghost out fit"
Giles: "At sundown, everyone became whatever they were masquerading as?"
Willow: "Right. Xander was a soldier and Buffy was an 18th century girl."
-Giles stares at her outfit.
Giles: "And- your costume?"
Willow: "I'm a ghost."
Giles: "Yes, but the ghost of what exactly?"

That exchange just cracks me up every time.
