Fave Staking in Buffy/Angel?

There was plenty of it going on, what are your favourite stakings? A couple of mine I can think of at the moment that I loved was when Willow got staked in The Wish, Dru staking Angel in her dream and wishing her a happy birthday and Darla staking herself in Lullaby. I can think of plenty more that were fricking awesome too but will give you a chance now to discuss your favourites.
 
My favorite staking was when Willow dusted the college vamp/surfer dude in "The Freshman". He was like, "woah". Gets me everytime. :giggle2:
 
My personal favorite is when Faith staked Mr.Trick to save Buffy in Consequences. But it's not the staking that I like. It's the scene and characters. 😉

I love Darla sacrificing too. There's too many cool staking scene. Buffy throwing that long piece of wood to kill Riley's vampwh*re, Illyria staking Spike, etc. I personally like Buffy staking a bunch of vamps in Sleeper. It's like she's hunting fish with a spear. 😛
 
One of my fav is when Buffy staked Sunday after she broke her umbrella!
And in Into the woods, when she stakes so many vampires without efforts, it was just frigging awesome!

Hmmm there are just so many stakings that i like...ummmmm let me see i think my fave would be when Buffy staked Dracula and she is waiting for him to come back so he just sorta mists away lol
 
Fave Staking in Buffy/Angel

I love any staking that Angel does anytime. I think it is kind of interesting to see Angel who is a vampire staking his own kind. I think the the contraption that Angel devises that he uses in City of to to stake two vamps at the same time is pretty cool. He just gets between the two of them and they are dust. Nothing short of awesome.

I like Buffy staking a vamp in the sewers in "The Prom" telling him "not now!!!" cause she was about to have the serious break up talk with Angel. I love how impatient she looks by that vamp!

And also in Prophecy Girl, I like the opening scene where she fights a vamp. I love her face expression. It is so cool!!!
 
Can't remember what episode it was but i like the staking where Buffy and Willow are walking and a vamp jumps out at them and Buffy just casually stakes him. There's probably many others i like but nothing else comes to mind at the moment.
 
Not really a staking, but the most memorable dispatching of a single vampire on either series to me was when Buffy stabbed Angel and sent him through the portal into hell at the end of Season 2. Most memorable because of the drama, the presentation by the actors, and because of the effects that in had on the characters, primarily Buffy. Doing that to Angel was without a doubt the most difficult decision and the most emotionally scarring single thing that Buffy had ever done up to that moment, and the most shocking thing that Angel, up to that time, had ever done. Sarah and David played the moment superbly, with grief far beyond tears on Sarah's part and shocked betrayal on David's, and they didn't have to speak a single word to convey everything that they were feeling at that moment. It was truly one of the most heart breaking moments of the entire series, surpassed only slightly by the deaths of Joyce and, of course, Buffy herself.

Is it in "Something Blue" where Buffy wonders why she feels real love has to go along with fighting, a vamp jumps out, and she dusts him without a second thought?

I liked when Oz dusted Vamp Willow in "Doppelgangland" and she goes "Oh f---". It was funny, but sad because now there's no more Vamp Willow.

Just what I was gonna say, I love that! That's just awesome.

I also love the synchronized Slaying staking and Buffy taking on like five vamps in an alley after she and Riley broke up.

I think I love most stakings though, there are a lot of good ones.

another example Riley staking that vamp in "Fool for love" who stabbed Buff with her stake

One of my favourites (can't think of the episode sorry) is when Buffy says to a vampire something like "How hard will you be able to kick when you're blowing in the wind", she stakes him yet he manages to kick her as he's turning to dust, she goes flying and says something like "that was rhetorical..."

I really like an early one. From the harvest I think.
Buffy stakes one with a pool stick but you never get to see the vampire at all.
You only see how the stick goes up in air when he falls. That always make me smile. It's such cheap trick but I love it nonetheless.

I don't know if this counts, but I got a kick out of Angel/Willow/Xander all being dusted in The Wish. Or Illyria dusting Spike/Angel in Time Bomb.
