Okay, but Dawson's Creek has like 3 different relationships for one person each season. Not really - but still, it's different from B/A relationships. Dawson's Creek is all about the sex. There is no connection.

I saw The Gift and Katie was adorable.😉
 
I used to watch Dawson's Creek, for like a summer. They were still in highschool and Joey was definately my Fave. I think I watched it until Joey broke up with Percy, got together with Dawson, and broke up with him....OK, I have no clue when I last watched it, but my impression has been that it got insanely stupid after that. I guess I was right.

As for Buffy being like DC...my fear in season six was it was heading that way, with Spike's and Buffy's on again, off again "relationship" which was just a big sexcapade. Luckily, the writers wised up, and that doesn't seem to be a threat this season.
