What titles says!

Any actors/actress you fallow/would see a movie just because they are starring in it?

I've got a few actors/actresses that I'm really into, and who are a big enough draw for me to go and check out their move/show just because they're in it.

The first is Mark Whalberg. He's the man, my favorite actor. He's got a movie coming out next month called "Pain and Gain" with The Rock (another big draw for me), and I'm so stoked to see it. Can't wait.

Matt Damon is a big one. He's getting a bit older now, but he's made some of my favorite movies ever. Ditto for Leonardo DiCaprio. It's a huge plus for me if they're in a movie. Ben Affleck, Christian Bale ("The Fighter" is one of my all time favorites) and John Cena (I'm a big wrestling fan, and he's my guy in the WWE. He doesn't make a ton of movies, but the ones he does you can count on some great action) are others who I consider pretty big draws.

There are a few directors who are huge draws for me. Martin Scorcese, Christopher Nolan, Steven Spielberg, Martin Campbell, Jon Faverau and of course, Joss Whedon, are huge draws for me. Even Michael Bay is a bit of a draw, to be honest.

Actress wise, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Eliza Dushku are two big ones. I'll check out just about anything they're in, regardless of genre, just because it's Buffy and Faith. I'm ready for the eye-rolling, but I'm more interested in a movie if Megan Fox is in it. I just loved the first "Transformers" so much. She's starring as April O'Neil in the new Turtles reboot, so that should be pretty cool.

haha I understand where you're coming from with Megan Fox, but for me it's Olivia Wilde mmmm
I've got a few actresses I follow blindly into just about anything. Mary-Louise Parker, Allison Janney, Stockard Channing, Cate Blanchett, and Meryl Streep. I find them all to be absolutely phenomenal actresses, as well as people. I've gotten a few duds by following them into everything, make no mistake of that, but I still continue to follow them, as it has mainly been their earlier movies that have thrown me.

As for actors...The list of actors I blindly follow is shorter by quite a large margin. Liam Neeson, Stanley Tucci, Robert Downey Jr. Liam has disappointed me the most - he's so wildly talented but he seems to have trouble choosing roles of substance. Stanley has only disappointed me once (Burlesque) and Robert hasn't really disappointed me thus far - though I also haven't seen as many of his movies as I would like.

For the directors, that's more what will normally pull me in than actors - they have so much more influence on the final product. (Though, on the topic of Martin Campbell, he did direct Green Lantern, and that was awful on so many levels...)

And I'm guilty of that with Sarah and Eliza as well. Summer Glau and Amy Acker are others - I really like the women that Joss casts, given that we have... similar interests. But really, I can't think of too many actors I'll watch no matter what they're in, just a few I mentioned here.

Actors: Robert Downey Jr., Edward Norton, Stanley Tucci, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Sheen, Samuel L Jackson and Nathan Fillion
Actresses: Meryl Streep, Laura Linney, Jena Malone, Stana Katic, Allison Janney, Anne Hathaway, Naomi Watts, Cate Blanchett, Toni Collette and Charlize Theron

For liking RDJ!
I guess I should answer my own question! For me actress would have to be Noomi Rapace, Emma Watson, Katherine Isabelle and Piper Perabo, I also really like some of the word of Angelina Joli and Natalie Portman but it's a hit and miss with these two. Another one that I fallow pretty closely is Keira Knightly but I'll admit she's not the best actress ever but I really like her. As for eye candy, I will watch absolutely any movie that has Olivia Wilde in it. Also one that I'm looking foward to seeing her career is Jenniger Lawrence.

For guys, I don't have as may actors that I like, the only one that I fallow closely is Cillian Murphy, I think he's way underrated!

For directors, the only ones that I'll watch every single movie they make are Zack Snyder, I love his style, and of course Joss Whedon. Although I have so many more that I love.

I like him. He did Casino Royale and Edge of Darkness, which were both fantastic movies. I know I'm in the minority, but I really liked Green Lantern. There were a few big flaws in it (half the movie being exposition chief among them. Although the Geoff Johns GL comics are some of my favorite stuff of all time, so I liked seeing it all on the big screen), and I don't know what the hell they were thinking with Parallax, but I liked it. I picked up the extended director's cut on Blu-Ray for like tun bucks the other day, and I'm excited to see it.

I hope there's a sequel, even though I'm not overly confident that it will materialize. It'll be interesting to see what goes on with Green Lantern and the upcoming Justice League project, if they'll incorporate the GL movie or not. I hope Ryan Reynolds sticks around in any case. I like him.

[MENTION=8404]Blaze[/MENTION],

Agreed. LOVE Olivia Wilde. Only reason I watched Cowboys and Aliens, and she made the O.C., well, pretty damn good 😀.

I forgot about a few. I really like Natalie Portman (for a few reasons...), and for actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt is awesome. He's the only reason I went and saw Premium Rush, and I was glad I did. It was a great movie. I've actually been making a habit of watching his filmography, although I still need to see Looper.

And like [MENTION=11853]Jodast[/MENTION] said, Robert Downy Jr. and Edward Norton (who doesn't make that many big movies anymore) are amazing as well.

Well, many different actors/actresses has caught my attention over the years...

But I would say that the only one I've really "followed" throughout the years and the one I've watched everything he has done is Clint Eastwood.
So in the end I guess he is the clear favorite.

Completely agree about how she made the O.C. I was so sad they she left after only doing like haft a season. For some reason she always seems to play the hot bisexual character, but eh I'm not complaining! Love her in House!

I also forgot about Joseph G-L. He is awesome! I was introduced to him in Batman and I've been catching up on the other movies he did!

It's hard to narrow it down enough to a have a short list...there are just so many actors I enjoy watching.

Favorite actors: Matt Damon, James Franco, Jason Statham, Denzel Washingon and Mark Wahlberg.

Favorite Actresses: Rachel McAdams, Natalie Portman, Julia Roberts, and Eva Mendez.

Honorable mention for totally superficial reasons: Channing Tatum.

Of all actors, living or dead, far and above all others, there could be only one:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-cPWheNyaA"]True Grit (9/9) Movie CLIP - Bold Talk for a One-Eyed Fat Man (1969) HD - YouTube[/ame]

followed closely by:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORYVCML8xeE"]2000.07.26 - 2000 NRA Convention - Charlton Heston - From My Cold, Dead Hands! - YouTube[/ame]

If only living actors apply, the one, the ONLY James Bond:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xDj3NRYTU8"]James Bond, Introduction - Dr. No (1962) - YouTube[/ame]

Any questions?

Actors: Harrison Ford (Come on! The dude was Han Solo, Indiana Jones, and Blade Runner!), William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, and of course NB and DB from Buffy/Angel 😀

Actresses: Amber Benson, Alyson Hannigan, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Melissa Joan Hart, and Gillian Anderson

Actresses

Kate Winslet - I love this woman, she is amazing in absolutely everything she stars in. It's my personal pet theory that she will become the new Meryl Streep.

Winona Ryder - I love her. She's adorable. She's the epitome of all things 90s and she was my first girl-crush.

Kirsten Dunst - so gorgeous, so talented and so under-appreciated. I've loved her ever since I saw Little Women. I'm always amazed at how many different roles she can effortlessly fit into.

Kaya Scodelario - Yeah, she's young and hasn't done much work outside of Britain, but if she can break into mainstream Hollywood, she's going to go far. She's such an amazing actress already, I can't wait for her to get the chance to stretch her wings.

Actors

Leo DiCaprio - Would someone please give this man a friggin' Oscar already?! He's amazing and so versatile and so, so overlooked.

Colin Firth - Who doesn't love Colin Firth? I mean really. He's hilarious. He's so dry and witty and such an amazing actor.

Hugh Jackman - HUGH JACKMAN'S WOLVERINE!!! But, seriously, Jackman is awesome. He is such a typically Aussie guy and I love that. Plus he's a great actor and a great stage performer.

I love Kaya (huge skins fan lol) and Winona!

Leonardo DiCaprio to me seems to be so under-rated, even with all of his success
Robert De Niro is definitely my favorite actor. From The Godfather, to Taxi Driver, to Mean Streets, to Goodfellas, (my favorite movie) everything he touches turns to gold. He's had his share of stinkers, (please, Rob, leave the Fockers alone) but regardless of the script, his acting is almost always perfect.

Honorable mentions: Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Johnny Depp, Denzel Washington, Christopher Walken.

Angelina Jolie is also my favorite actress. Although in my opinion, with the exception of a couple, most of her movies tend to be....crap, really. Kind weird how she's my favorite, but most of her movies aren't up to par. I just think she has bad taste when it comes to picking movies. She could do so much better than the movies she chooses. I'm not saying they're horrible by any means, but her performances in Gia and Girl, Interrupted solidified my stance. She is an amazing, honest, actress. In those movies, I honestly don't see Ms. Jolie. I see Gia, and I see Lisa.

Honorable mentions: Meryl Streep (duh), Susan Surandon, Winona Ryder, Natalie Portman, Helena Bonham Carter

Rep for mention of Girl, Interrupted and Gia. Also Meryl, Susan, and Helena. Also for your sig song quote. I LOVE THAT SONG.

Exactly my opinion on Angelina Jolie, sometimes I feel like she's wasting her talent
Favourite actor: Robert Downey Jr (kinda obvious) I'm slowly going through his filmography and each film of his I've been blown away. At the moment it's Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus, mind blowing acting with a touching ending. Of course he's fantastic as Tony Stark and Sherlock Holmes too. 😀

As for actresses... damn I'm going to think about that one a little more.

Actors: Bruce Willis & Nathan Fillion. Any movie/TV show with one of these guy will make me want to see it.

Actresses: Sarah Michelle Gellar & Michelle Trachtenberg. Same as for the guys. The only exception is Gossip Girl, but that wasn't Michelle's fault. The entire show was getting stupid.

Actors: Ryan Gosling, Seth Rogen, Steve Carell, Will Ferrell, Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Actresses: Jessica Chastain, Emma Stone, Anna Kendrick, Anne Hathaway

I actually wouldn't watch a movie just because there are certain actors or actresses in it. Now, if we were talking about directors, that would be a different story.

Anyway, my favorite actors:
Jeff Goldblum, Samuel L. Jackson, Nathan Fillion, Al Pacino, Kevin Spacey, Benicio Del Toro, Steve Buscemi, Harrison Ford and Michael Madsen.

...and actresses:
Alyson Hannigan, Summer Glau, Eliza Dushku and Julianne Moore.
