Was going to do this as a trivia question, but decided to see which 'batcave' everyone liked best.

('Batcave' refers to the HQ of the Scoobies, referred to as such by Joss Whedon in the commentary for 'Welcome to the Hellmouth')

Which was your favorite? Mine was the Magic Box. The library was really cool, but after a while you used to wonder why no one ever came in there. Plus it was a cool looking set.

Magic Box too. I was thinking the same thing for the library Why does no one come in there. And form Buffy's home it was really to small for the season. and also I think we saw the most of the Magic Box Well outher then buffys home. we saw a litte of the outher 2 but not a lot. so I think thats why I liked the Magic Box so much...

I'm gonna say the library. The magic box was ok, especially in parts of season 5 and in OMWF. But the library was the original "batcave" and it has the right feeling. I agree about the problem with no-one coming in there though. If I'd been a student at Sunnydale High, that would have been my ideal hang out, heh.

I said the library too. It was the original and they were there the longest, so it has a special place in my heart.

Also, I don't know about you all, but I don't think I ever went into my school library! And that's not to say I was a bad student, because I wasn't, but high school libraries tend to not be that great. Also, we had a book store where the students bought their textbooks, so there was no need to go to the library for that either.

Eh, ok, we don't have a library at my school (we can't afford it), and we don't have text books either (um, it's a Steiner/Waldorf school). So I wouldn't know. But the library at Sunnydale High seemed so cool, I mean, I'd be just like Willow before Buffy came there. She liked Giles, the new librarian, and she probably spent all her time in the library even before she started helping Buffy with the slaying stuff. (Ok, Willow might be a far more committed student than I am, but still...)

Magic Box. I thought it was a nice bright enviroment untill Dark Willow got a hold of it. I really wished it had returned for season 7.

I too have to go with the library because it is just a classic.

And hardly no one in my school ever goes into the library, mostly because of the evil librarians and all.

Completely different in college though where everyone apparently goes to the library.

I said Magic Box.

Remember that scene in Same Time Same Place when Anya was cleaning out the Magic Box for the last time, then her and Willow wound up sitting on the curb having a heart to heart.

I was a little disappointed and sad watching that scene. I was thinking, "Gosh Anya, can't you fix it? What? You mean no more Magic Box?"

I loved the Library and the Magic box both so much, but I put library because it was just so classic, and it was true the the scoobies' roots, it was in that very place that Buffy met Giles and Xander found out Buffy was the slayer.

Both Giles' house and Buffy's house seemed to be headquarters in times when the scoobies were falling apart. Maybe thatsa the significance of the various batcaves: When they have no place specific to meet, they all gradually break away (like "The Yoko Factor" or when they kicked Buffy out of her own house).

The library ofcourse, all those memories.

But the magix box was fun to while it lasted.

I never really liked the headquarters being in Giles house or The Summers.
