I'm voting for Faith. While the Mayor was SO cool and funny, I really liked the way Joss thought up her character.

She was the dark slayer -- something Buffy probably wouldn't have been sure existed until she saw Faith kind of flirt with the idea of being evil. She brought out another side in Buffy that scared her, and for a while, Buffy wasn't as Ms. Responsibility as she normally was.

I liked the way they took the lore of BtVS, the essence of the show, and flipped it around to make her the bad slayer. Very cool.
 
Okay I just had to Vote Vamp Willow! I think She rocked! I mean We don't see Willow as the big bad often but we know that if she was she'd kick tushie. I thought It was so cool seeing Willow as evil instead of her normal self. Alyson did an awesome job changing the persona. it was so real. It's hard for me to decide if I like the wish or Dopplegangland better because in The Wish we get to see Willow evil for the first time and then in Dopplegangland it's double trouble with an Evil Willow and the good Willow playing bad and all I just loved it.

heh I recently saw season three on DVD so the details are really very fresh in my mind.
 
There was a lot of great villans in Season 3 but I'd have to say I liked the Mayor the best. He was definatly a unique character; I mean, he's this really old guy who wants to kill people and go all apocalypse-y yet he's like a Dad to Faith and is always saying things like "drink your milk" or "you know what's wrong with kids your age?...."

The mayor was this villan who insisted people washed their hands and have good behavior (or sometimes you know good behavior for evil-people). He also really looked after Faith and tried his best to make sure she was happy, it seemed that the two characters (in the half season or so that Faith was working for him) formed this family-like bond which I thought was great since Faith didn't seem to have much of a family at all as a kid. And some of the lines Joss and the writers came up with were priceless (giant-snake-mayor faced with LOTS of explosives; about to be blown up "Well Gosh."...lol 😀)

Plus you know, he DID eat Snyder so that's GOTTA earn him SOME bonus points right? 😉
 
Never really thought about it but there are so many great baddies in season 3. My favorite character of those are of course Faith, but I'm not sure she's my favorite "big bad". I had to go with the mayor, just 'cause I love how evil he is while he is always so sweet and caring (about Faith) and funny, of course. I don't like when he turns into that animated snake demon, but in the rest of the season I love that character. (I also liked vamp Willow a lot though..)
 
I had to go with the Mayor. I mean, how great was that character? He was totally evil, but believed in washing your hands before every meal and the Boy Scouts. He could go from being compleltly charming to creepily evil in nothing flat.
 
The Mayor. Faith was annoying. I loved the mayor because he was so evil and so funny. I love his checklist

Get Milk (check)
Go miniature golfing (check)
Become invincible
 
For me it's a toss up between the Mayor and Vamp Willow. They both made me laugh.
 
I chose Faith! She was awesome bad - I prefer her bad rather than good! also vamp willow and the mayor rocked a close second. :thumbs_up

And I also like his relationship with Faith. They were really great (in a badass sortof way) together.
 
I couldn't choose between the Mayor or Vamp Willow (Only cause woah... hottness!) I chose the Mayor because he just cracked me up like ALL the time... I didn't choose Faith, like everyone else, because I'm determined to believe that she was just lost, and she needed help.
 
Quite liked all the bads in this season! =D My fave would be a tie between the mayor and Faith! As Faith was cunning and sly she started off as a goody but the dark side of her took over and she couldnt get enough of killing! But the mayor strikes as a ordinary guy not a massive snake that destroyed the high school lol! Ye them two were great bads!

Faith is undoubtedly my favourite "Big Bad" in this Series. (I just love that phrase!) :shades:
 
I voted Vamp Willow. I just found it sooo harrowing that one of the scoobies was a baddie despite knowing that the real willow was still in the world. I just couldn't hack it. I love willow sooo much.
 
Faith, Faith, Faith all the way. She was the most interesting as she started off with the Scoobies then went all "bad" and ended up fighting on the Mayors side, because it took soo much persuading didnt it?!?!

I could have killed her myself though when she tried to kill Angel, silly bint! GAAGGHHH!!!
