Favorite as in "the most evil", or favorite as in "the one I liked best"? I'll vote after you clarify that for me. 🙂

To me Favorite means the one I like the best, but I'm not Wesley Pryce. 🙂

My fav was Angelus, but I also love The Master, the Mayor, & Glory. I love me some Nathan Fillion but he wasn't my fav Big Bad.

Too bad Warren was put with Willow lol I don't want to vote for Warren because I despised him so much (I guess in itself that's how were suppose to feel towards a big bad, but it was to the point where I hated just seeing him on screen). My favorite big bad was Dark Willow. There was just so much passion, so much hurt, so much revenge in her, she's probably the only big bad I could empathise with. Her being dark like that just made me want to hug her, plus it gave us one of my favorite scene of the series, the yellow crayon speech.

I felt warren should go with Willow the same as Caleb goes with the first..sorry :)
Well perhaps i should have phrased it as "best",meaning the villain that gave you the biggest chills and Buffy the greatest challenge. But i think it can mean a lot of different things. The one who's the creepiest, the most likeable ,and the most complex..in short, the one that sticks out most in your mind for whatever reason. I hope that clarifies it a bit 🙂

In that case, I chose the Mayor. Like all real evil, he had a mundane, quiet, kind side to him. I enjoyed seeing his germophobic, fatherly tendencies. He also kinda "won" even when he died, destroying the school in the process.

Without a doubt Angelus, because he did something that no other Big Bad did, except, of course, Twilight from Season 8, but that's a totally different subject. For the first time, Buffy faced an opponent who could make the fight personal. This wasn't some mysterious nameless menace with no shared past, this was the man who Buffy loved, the man who was her first lover, and the first man who ever gave Buffy hopes for a shared future.

Okay, that was Angel, not Angelus, but Angelus exploited it at every opportuniy.

I nearly voted Angelus but voted for the Mayor. Now I've read this I think I've changed my mind back to Angelus!
Hmmm, it's between Angelus and the Mayor for me. The Mayor was really unlike any villain I've ever seen, and I loved his quirkiness & relationship with Faith. But Angelus was pure genius because he hit Buffy emotionally like no other big bad had.
So I think Angelus beats the Mayor out for this one because of personal impact he had on Buffy.

yes! and on a completely different subject, I love your signature picture!
Caleb / The first gave me the most chills and was most hard for buffy to challange.

Glory! Definitely and without a doubt!

Glory is one of my all time favs, you should vote for her when you get the chance :)
Definitely has to be The Mayor for me. Season 3 is my favourite season in general, and The Mayor is one of the reasons why. He was just a brilliant villain, and was very enjoyable to watch
