I don't have any Buffy albums or soundtracks, so I can't remember many specific songs or bands. I liked Cibo Matto. "Spoon" is a great song. That second song they did was one of their slower, lazier numbers...I liked Bif Naked from season 4, "Lucky".

I think my favorite might actually be "Exposition Song", from "Restless". It's hilarious and bizarre and very brief. Giles is just so into it. You can tell he likes melodic, early 70s rock. It was sounding kind of glammy, kind of early Bowie to me...

You guys have a fave or faves?

Oh yeah, I love Virgin State of Mind by K's choice, from Doppelganger. It's so good, very entrancing.
And I LOVE Pavlov's Bell by Aimee Mann, I think it's from Sleeper but I'm not 100% sure, but it's the one where Spike meets a vampire that he sired on the balcony and they talk then fight and he stakes her and she falls down onto the dance floor and dust's and everyone is looking and then they just start the music and continue playing It is so funny. The song it's self is so 'exciting-making' (look at my crap English, but I can't think of the word) It makes you all jumpy inside!
(God I suck at the English language!!)

mmm...energizing? invigorating? exhilarating? lol. I love that whole Aimee Mann Lost in Space record. Kind of a downer thematically, but almost all her stuff is...

I can't remember the K's Choice song...need to go back and give it a listen.

Actually, it's not strictly Bronze-related, but I like Faith's taste in music...whatever song that Faith was listening to when Buffy came to her apartment to gut her...Season 3. Loved the sound of that song playing on Faith's radio.

Ah yes, I swear I do usually remember those words, lol.

And other songs that weren't just from the Bronze, I love the song that plays throughout 'Conversations with Dead People', I believe it's called Blue, but I don't know who it's by!

My faves are Pavlov's Bells, Aimee Mann and Key, Devics in season 5's Crush.

Blue is sung by Angie Hart, formerly of Splendid and she and Joss wrote the song.

I dunno i loved the Michelle Branch one, singing "Goodbye too you" lol

Me too! I loved that episode, and I really liked the song. I just thought it fitted the episode so well!

I'm really hopeless at remembering the songs that were played on Buffy, that is the only one that springs to mind.

What episode was Michelle Branch's "Goodbye too you"? I remember it being played in the ad's for buffy, but not an ep?

Michelle Branch and "Goodbye To You" was in the end of Tabula Rasa, when Giles and Tara both leave. I have never seen that scene without crying (and I have seen that episode quite many times).

That is definitely one of my favourite. Also like Aimee Mann, and definitely Giles' song in Restless, just awesome..

Oh yeah now I remember, thank you!! :)
I'm not exactly a swing fan, but I thought Jonathan's crooning and trumpet playing in "Superstar" was kind of a refreshing change for the Bronze. That little 90s swing revival in the States was sorta fun while it lasted. I was really surprised when I learned that it wasn't Danny Strong singing. It sounds just like how I'd imagine Danny would sound as a singer.

Oh yeah that was good! And it was actually Tucker singing (From the prom, the hellhound guy)
My favorite Bronze performance was Cibbo Matto's "Sugar Water". It was awesome how the song went well with what was going on with everyone there at that time.

I loved Michelle Branch's "Goodbye to You" in Tabula Rasa. It fit the episode and her performance was wonderful. I also enjoy Cibo Matto's "Sugar Water" and Devics' "Key." Those are my ultimate favorites.

My favorite was Angie Hart's Blue. I loved Giles' song in Restless, too. I just ordered a couple of Buffy soundtracks from Amazon.co.uk....hoping they'll arrive this week. One is the OMWF CD and the other has Blue on it.

Bow down to the Exposition Song. Its just a little bit brilliant. Haha I think its so funny....I do enjoy anything by the Dingoes...well, Four Star Mary really... but no band really sticks out in my mind from the Bronze...usually not the type of music i like i guess...but thats ok...

Bif Naked was actually playing at the party Buffy and Parkre went to.
Goodbye to You, wow, forgot about that. Amazing. I have the album and its fantastic.

I also loved "Virgin State of Mind" by K's choice. Great bass part! I looked up the band that's playing in "Faith, Hope, and Trick" where Buffy's sitting with the gang and Scott Hope asks Buffy if she'd like to dance. Then they see Faith dancing with the vampire. It's Darling Violetta and the song is "Cure". I love that number! It also set the mood for that scene in the Bronze perfectly.
