Favorite CD?

Okay, there's a lot of music threads out there. Well, here's where we explain our favorite CDs that we currently have. Any CD that you must listen to every time you pop on those headphones. So dish. 😛

Mine would be my Evanescence (I'm sounding really obsessed at this point, aren't I?) CD. I can't stop listening to it. I love it to death ...
 
Hmm... Well, I have a CD player that holds five... I think that, rather than choosing just one, I'll talk about the ones that can usually be found in there.

1). Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Soundrack #1.
- I love this for so many reasons. First of all, there's a really eclectic grouping of music, all of which is really good. Most of all, though, I have all of these associated emotions to the songs on that soundtrack... And I feel like it completely captures the essence of Buffy, especially circa season three.

2). Music For Elevators By ASH and George Sara
- This CD I obviously bought because of it's connection with Buffy and THC, and it wasn't something that I immediately loved... This it why I love it so much now. It's something that gently persuaded me over time... Something that seemed to have a personality all it's own. Now I can't get enough of it.

3). BtVS: Once More With Feeling
-Do I need to explaine?

4). Usually something by either a) Splendid or b)Azure Ray
-These are both bands that I discovered through Buffy, but that I came to love all on my own. I like to have these on hand for several reasons:
-They both have some dreamy, ethereal music that is great for moping to, and I'm a moping kind of person.
-They both have emotional associations
-They are both nice to sleep to
-They both have a few of thoes songs that make you want to cry for no reason, just because they tap into something deep inside of you that you sisn't even know was there.

5). I usually leave this spot open for whatever my mood feels like that is not one of the afformentioned, however there are several CD's that can frequently be located here.
-Anything by Sarah McLachlan
-Anything By Placebo
-Anything by Bush
-Anything By STP
-Nirvana
-Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

All eminem cd's-I like em' cause he's very hot(but not as hot as db) and he raps good!
Sir mix alot-Mack Daddy- i like this cd because the songs "first times got no case" "mack daddy" "swap meat louie" and "baby got back" are all on it!


I just burn all my cd's so i dont have any fave ones..All of them are different songs one one cd!
 
For me, currently, I will listen to nothing but my DEFTONES Minerva CD......which I recently purchased.
Those gents wail!

(Egad......do people even USE that term anymore? Lol.)
 
LOL! I think you're safe Old Master. I still hear that term used quite often...

Well, I couldn't choose my FAVORITE but lately I have been just stuck on my early christmas preasent from one VERY special lady by the name of Chasity! I am very poor and have been wanting the soundtrack to Queen of the Damned for the longest time and the angel got it for me! S I just keep playing track 2 and track 4 until my ears bleed...
 
Hard to choose, really....Most of the time I have my own compilations,but Metallica,Nirvana and RHCP must be on every single one

BtVS OMWF soundtrack no explanation needed for that one.

I have the best of Red Hot Chilli Peppers in my CD player at the moment but am also loving the Kill Bill soundtrack, Blondie and absolutley loving Mad World from Donnie Darko. Its Xmas number one here in London.
