Which character based episode From Buffy and/or Angel is your absolute favorite?
Personally for me its "Family" on BTVS and "Lineage" on ATS. 🙂

Mines not one episode but 3 episodes, the Angelus/Angel/Faith arc in Angel season 4, I count it as one cuz it's the one arc and they are brilliant character episodes for both Angel and Faith

Difficult, love so many, the faith eps in Angel, Hero, first impressions, Darla, fredless, birthday, the house always wins.

Angel, the dark age, dopplegangland, new moon rising, family, fool for love, the body, hell's bells.

There are just so many great ones to choose from!
I'm going to pick The Zeppo. It was really clever - and influential. I've read several interviews with tv writers saying they wrote episodes based on that episode. It was more than just character-centric, it was the only episode in the series where there's a big battle and it wasn't the main focus. Instead we get the most eventful night in Xander's life so far and the others completely miss the whole thing. Loved it.

Favourite- Salvage/Release/Orpheus for Faith and Angel, a mature look at what redemption actually means, how hard it is.

Others a like:

Doppelgangerland- back when I liked Willow a lot more.

Fool For Love- Makes you feel sorry for a monster, that's some skilled writing right there.

Storyteller- I like Andrew in this episode yet a detest him a lot of the time. I also like him in Angel S05.

You're Welcome- Charisma Carpenter owns this episode.
