That's so tough!
I really love River Tam, but she's better in Serenity.
I think I'll say Mal, he's so charming, I love Nathan Fillion, he's hilarious.
But all the characters are amazing, great cast.

I like Book because he's... just Book. He's mature and wise, but he never lets his maturity and wisdom set him above his shipmates. He's always there for them, to help, to comfort, or even, if the need arises, to blow off a few kneecaps.

Oof, that's tough. I don't have just one favorite character on Firefly, so I can't really vote, but I can narrow it down to a few...I'd say my favorites are Zoe, Wash, Jayne, Mal, and Kaylee. I know, that's pretty much everyone, but still. Zoe is just a complete badass, Wash is hilarious and adorable (as Alan Tudyk put it, he's essentially "Space Xander"), Jayne is too funny, Mal is very charming and sexy, and Kaylee is just the cutest. Really, I love everyone on the crew, although Simon and Inara bored me a bit at times and before Serenity, River could be kind of annoying.
I'll just have to find out which of my favorites gets the least votes and help them out.

I can´t chose one. But maybe I´ll pick randomly from Kaylee, Jayne, River & Wash just to get a vote. River wasn´t a big favourite of mine the first time around but she´s grown on me a lot since. But I guess Jen has a point. Serenity might have played a big part of that. I think I´ll go with Jayne for now. But don´t hold it against me if I answer someone else another time.

Inara for sure...even though I believe Adam Baldwin is one of the hottest men in the history of ever so I was ALMOST tempted to pick Jayne...but Inara has all that I look for when choosing a female to worship in a given film or television series...beauty, brains and sass.

Mal's my guy! I always like the heroes, for some reason. I do have a special place in my heart for Wash, too, I really like his sense of humor.

I do think Jayne in the most amusing and attractive, he always makes me laugh out loud. But that should not be the reasons for choosing my favorite...
I'd have to choose Mal as well, after consiterable thought. He is just such a great, layered, intriguing character. Yet, it's astonishing the development of each character consitering the short run of the show. They're all fabulous. 🙂

Wash defo , mainly because hes just as confused and clumsy as me lol and he likes dinosaurs woot woot ! and hes very funny.

Oh, this is so hard, cause Firefly is an ensemble show with AMAZING characters. But, I'd have to say River, because Summer Glau does a fantastic job playing the strange and awesome character of River. She is amazing in "Objects In Space", and I love all her little speeches. So fantastic. But, I also love Mal, Zoe, Kaylee, Jayne, and Wash!!!

I love Wash. From the moment we see him playing with his dino toys in the opening episode, I love him. He's funny and kindhearted and brave. he's basically the Xander of the group, but with maybe a little more maturity and usefulness to the crew. I also loved the way he and Zoe connected so well. They made a convincing and loving husband and wife pair.

I chose Kaylee, mainly because I once decided she was my favourite, and it stuck, kinda. It's not like me to like a cute/funny/nice character like that though, I'd be less surprised if Zoe had been my fave, heh.

Yeah! One of my favorite Kaylee scenes is when she's wowing all those guys at the party by talking about different kinds of spaceships. I was glad she found her niche at that party and had a great time.
