Favorite Christmas Song

I think my favorite Christmas recording is the Eurythmics' version of "Winter Wonderland" from the first Very Special Christmas album.

I also like Bing Crosby and David Bowie's "Little Drummer Boy", Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song", Elvis Presley's "Blue Christmas". I like the Chieftains' "Bells of Dublin" album and old stuff by Perry Como, Tony Bennett, Harry Belafonte ("Mary's Boy Child")... and, of course, the soundtracks from "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and all those Rankin-Bass specials.

(Yes, I have a weird sense of humor. 🙂 Also tops on my list: any of the songs from Bob Rivers' Twisted Radio that have to do with Christmas. Why? Well, the holidays tend to make us even more frantic than usual. And you need a sense of humor to deal with it...)
