Was watching random episodes of Buffy this holiday and I came up with this thread idea...
So, what is your favourite episode of each season? I'm on my iPad on the tapattalk app so I'm not quite sure if I'm under the right section..

Mine are

Season 1: Prophecy Girl
Season 2: Becoming 1/2
Season 3: Graduation 1/2
Season 4: Hush
Season 5: The Body/The Weight Of The World/The Gift
Season 6: OMWF/Seeing Red/Villains
Season 7: The Killer In Me/CWDP/Chosen

My opinions on favourite episodes changes all the time, and multiple of my favourites are found in the same season, so I'll write a quick list off the top of my head, which will probably be different in a few months.

s1: Nightmare

s2: Passion (lots of other great episodes, but Passion just stands out so much among the bunch, it's the clear winner for me)

s3: I don't really have a favorite for this one, there's too many strong episodes to choose from: Doppelgangland, The Wish, Graduation Day, Helpless, The Prom, Earshot, Band Candy (none of which would necessarily be in my top 10, but a lot of them would be in the top tier of the episodes)

s4: Restless (and coming in second are Hush and New Moon Rising)

s5: The Gift, The Body, and Family, honestly can't choose here

s6: Normal Again (with OMWF, Entropy, and Seeing Red coming in second)

s7: Chosen [for nostalgic reasons only] (with The Killer in Me coming in second)
 
If I can only choose one episode per season, they would be:

S1 - Witch
S2 - School Hard
S3 - Band Candy
S4 - Hush
S5 - The Gift
S6 - Once More, With Feeling
S7 - Him
 
season 1: prophecy girl
season 2: passion (this was so hard)
season 3: graduation day part 2
season 4: hush (weird because my favorite episode in general, like out of all 144 episodes...is restless...but hush is such an amazing episode. so well written and...yeah)
season 5: the body
season 6: seeing red
season 7: selfless

I change my mind about some of these from time to time but I think I'm pretty set on the ones I chose for seasons 1, 4, 5, and 7.

Doing this made me realise that in all but a handful of cases it is moments of episodes I like, not the entire episode. I think because of that I ended up picking my most watched episodes rather than my favourites.
